You genuinly don't think that them having won the league as recently as they did adds credibility to them? It's not like it was ten years ago, it was two.

They've won it more recently than any of the top six bar Chelsea and currently sit 7th. They are therefore the most credible potential challenger to the top six. I can't see how that can really be questioned.

... which I think proves my point about certain fans not being able to stomach our 'rise' ... you won't now need me to point out that Saffy is one of those... stems back to us stuffing Sunderland comprehensively in the first game of our title winning season ... suffice to say he didn't take it too well and assured us that our fortunes were sure to take a down turn <laugh>

... right now I'd agree ... but we have some great potential young talent coming through and personally (and admitted bias) think we are currently better placed than Everton ... and this is why ... Iheanacho (21) Gray (21) Diabate (22) Ndidi (22) Maguire (23) Chilwell (21) Barnes (20) all played against Peterborough in the Cup... and as Puel said ... "the future for Leicester City" ... never been a better time to be an 'optimistic' Leicester fan <cheers>
That's all fair points, but I'd counter that with if these guys improve to the level you're hoping for, which should surely be top 4 quality. If one of the Manchester clubs come calling, and they will, what can you do about it?

To crack the top 6, you need a chairman that is going to turn down 80 million pound offers for your top players but also spend a good 150 million on quality, quality players that can help bring the youth on.

With exactly the same number points as Burnley, nearly double figures behind the top 6 and an improving Everton who would have been above them if Allardyce was there from the start. None of them are realistic challengers to the top 6 at this moment in time.
<doh> ... Everton fans are already frustrated with Sam's "let's get a point" tactics ... if we'd had Puel from the start of the season we might well have been above Arsenal ... talk about bitter <laugh>

Youth eh?

Wer've got one of the best youth teams in the land. Yet our first team ****ing sucks.

You don't half hold a grudge Fosse, I don't even remember this <laugh>

Why do you single me out for saying that? It was after one game of the season, every man and his dog thought you'd struggle that season. I'll repeat though, Leicester mean absolutely nothing to me, whether you do good or bad, is irrelevant to me,

you should thank us for that walkover.

Yeah really bitter about Leicester City

Leicester City EPL Title winners ... get it right ... let's face it ... every fan of every club outside of United, City, Chelsea and Arsenal would give their left bollock to have done what we did ... and to be where we are now ...

But on the other foot, after hummiliating all the big clubs, do you not feel a bit let down not to have built on that splendid title win?

was always gonna be tough.

Seriously? ... no ... because we have built ... Ranieri's success was built on picking from the same 14 players ... we now have an incredible squad .. realistically we were never going to retain the title... but the football we are playing now under Puel is as good as I've seen in 50 years of supporting the club ... what more can you ask as a fan?

thats a big call seeing as you won 2 years ago.

Not the results ... the football ... the quality in the squad right now is the best I've ever seen ... we went to Chelsea the other week and completely outplayed them ... not counter attack ... we bossed it and THEY were lucky to get a draw on their own patch ... That's the difference ..
