Is it just last night's wine, or is there a strong taste of sour grapes on here? Talk of Poch going to Real seems to have bought out the bile in many. When he left us I was seriously pissed off. Not because I thought it was treacherous, but because we all knew how good he was and would likely become. The fact that he has done well at Spurs proves the point. If he goes to bigger and better things, then good luck to him. I struggle to see what serious harm he did to Southampton FC, but have no problem recognising the good.
We are what we are. As with players, if managers want to come and prove their worth then great. You can be sure they are going to work hard to prove themselves, and not see a spell on the South Coast as a retirement job. I would love us to have a manager that other clubs eyed with envy.

I think you may have missed the point of the footballing ‘humour’ here Lambo. I think our heckles have been raised as some will see it as karma if he is poached from Spuds. For me, I think Poch is one of the best coaches out there and I can’t wait for Spuds to have their karma when a bigger club pinches him from them.
He was great for us and destined to go to the top. The top isn’t Spuds. No feelings against Poch (although anyone leaving us clearly becomes a little bit crap
) however lots against that norf London lot.
So many managers and players come and go, you have to let go of anger/dislike....call it what you like. Poch has gone way down the list in my black book of vengeance. Seems a nice enough guy....says nice things about us....isn't as full of anger about every imagined slight....unlike the managers of other clubs such as United and Chelsea. Don't like Spurs much, so MP leaving would raise a slight smile.....and I would wish Mauricio all the best.

Reading your later posts, and that of others, I can see that there is still some genuine warmth for the man. Obviously, I don't want to see any team prosper other than Saints, so would share other's delight if Poch does go on to bigger things if that derails Spurs.

Mrs Tell told me any ex girlfriends of mine certainly won’t be friendly anymore. Even the ones with benefits.
And another thing I’m blaming u for, we need Kylie back. All this **** happened with playing crap when you went and got on your high horse and changed to the man in a cape. (Unless I’m mistaken cos I’d never do that!)
