Very interesting, I must start watching Lie To Me. I'd like to disbelieve you but it's a convincing case and neither Carroll's nor Pardew's description of events is unlikely, or implausible. The only reason I still think Carroll is lying is because it would have been so easy to stay, and because he has so contradicted himself in the interviews claiming he was forced out then goes completely back on himself when interviewed upon joining Liverpool (as I've said, he could talk of his disappointment at having to leave Newcastle, but looking forward to success with Liverpool etc rather than the usual new signing bullshit).

Like i said, i don't think he thought the whole saga over before he signed...
 
He's young, naive, misguided, wants the best for himself

Throw that together and you get some really hilarious results, such as this whole Andy Carroll situation and him pathetically trying to save his image when he knew fully well what he was doing, and what it would mean to us, his fans

I said ages ago when I first saw the clip that he looked disinterested. I would hate for Loserfool to have broken all these records for a player who wishes he was still with us hahahaha! Seriously though, look at his body language and even more tellingly listen to his tone of voice. I have heard him talk to the cameras before and he was quite a lively so and so. Me thinks he will want to come back but alas I don't think he will
 
I honestly believe it is the end of his career, he only done so well for us because of the passion he had. He is now just a mercinary who couldn't give a sh*t, the next Robbie Keane imo!!!!!

Really, REALLY, disappointed with the lad, sold us down the ****ing river. 2 weeks ago wouldn't have been to bad, but affectively saying 'Look, 35m is alright, go find a good, not massively overpriced, replacement in 3 hours. Good luck!'

He knows he has done something daft. His agent has clearly said "go on Andy, tell them you want 80k a week or you're away! They will pay it as they have knocked back a £30 million bid!"

So he's gone horsing in wound up by his toss pot agent and said he wants a new deal, Pards has said sorry but we can't, but we will do it in the Summer. That wasn't good enough so in came the request. People need to remember that the initial £35 million bid was REJECTED and when he came back with his request they accepted it. One or two within NUFC have said that it was mentioned that if we had a season of Prem football behind us then he might have got the contract he wanted, but the club have said that wages can't go above certain levels with the risk of another season in the fizzy pop. So in the Summer we will invest and bring in hopefully 5 or 6 top players. Mostly young hungry who genuinely want to be here. I might be wrong but I think young Andy will be passing jealous glances at the next occupier of our famous number 9 shirt.

Silly boy. For the sake of another 4 months on a measly 30k a week you would have got ya deal in the Summer Andy. If not you could have gone then when we could have replaced you. Pushed out? No way mate. You knew what you were doing trying to manipulate the club and they had none of it. You still could have stayed but you didn't.
 
They have even put it on the NUFC site today that the money is to be spent. Every penny, and you know what, I even think Ashley might even have a bit more on top if we are still Prem (and we will be ;) ) .

Put it this way, our last 2 signings have been Tiote @£3.5 million and HBA @ £5 million ish. If that's what we are after then please keep them coming. A team of young, athletic speedy players. Remember SBR's team which had Dyer, Robert, Bellamy, Jenas all pouring forward? Shearer struggled to keep up!! lol!! Let's get back to that where we had a team that was a bit naive but capable of tearing apart anyone.

Instead of being a negative this could be a defining moment for us. Next season, NUFC really push on. :)

Exactly. He's old news now and we're best off rid if all hes interested in is money. Sign up some young, hungry and decent players in the summer who want to play for the shirt. We've had too many mercenaries in the past - Carroll's just another one on the list.
