Maybe when we asked about him they offered us someone else and Nige went to watch him. Happens all the time.
A bit like when the allams bought us....they either did a **** due diligence or stuff was hidden as further liabilities came to light after they bought us
They didn't even know the name of the club they were buying. Allam said he thought we had always been called Hull City Tigers.
Get the mods to make a sticky out of it. Clearly the new owners may not get wind of it on here but it's a possibility, and I'd do whatever I could to ensure these two ****s don't benefit from it being potentially missed.
I deal with company transitions daily, and I would 50% of the time companies find out something they didn't expect after buying the company. Most of the time there is a reason they are selling the company and the current directors will always do their best to hide it. I hate the Allams, but when it comes to money they aren't terrible. I still think they have ran this business terribly and could have made a lot more money....
I bet Airbus wish they had, they've just been fined 104 million Euro because a company they acquired in 1998 illegally sold arms to Taiwan in 1992.
It's a joke things like this and the geovanni contract business. Why not punish the people who were actually involved. Total piss take
All this work going on behind the scenes and nothing to show for it is a surprise - if we believe that. It must feel like a kick in the balls when your third bid restructured the second restructured offer and now no one knows what the xxxx anyone is on about.
Back to Geoff's interview with HKR after the first meeting in Oct/Nov. Claimed Assem was worried about it.
The thing is people don't realise how big that deal was! I was in Taiwan not long after in the early 2000s and literally everyone in Taiwan had arms. Not just the army but everyone. Men, women, children they ALL had arms. And not just one, they almost all had two each. One hanging from each shoulder, it was completely blatant.
