To be honest I'm fed up of the whole Schadenfreude thing... it sometimes feels like both sets of fans cares more about the other being unhappy than being happy themselves.

Barton leaving you and coming to us... well maybe I could get some pleasure out of that :emoticon-0116-evilg

I would say they are more ambitious than you as they are buying better players than they have while you are selling them and replacing them with poorer players or not at all. Their owner is certainly more ambitious then yours, the fans maybe not, I am sure QPR will be happy with just staying up while Newcastle will be happy with around 12th.

    Better players <doh>

Who have they bought so far? Whilst Barton hasn't even actually went anywhere yet, if he does, he'll be pretty much their only signing of good quality, and it's on a freebie.

His agent Mckay went on and on about Barton being inundated with offers. However, it appears that QPR are the only club willing to take him and offer him a good contract. No doubt that QPR's new owner has some cash behind him, so he's in a position to cough up a good enough contract for a free transfer player which turns his head.

And don't count us out until the transfer window is over. There's still a left back, striker and perhaps even a replacement for Barton to come in. It's much difficult for Newcastle to do what QPR are doing and buying some vastly better players, as all their existing players are fresh out of the Championship. We've replaced Nolan with Cabaye who is far better, but it's naturally difficult to replace Enrique and Barton with better players as they're bloody good as it is, and Ashley is tight as ****.

I don't really care either. In fact I was just helping Bill with an answer for his question. Some mackem has decided to turn this into a debate about Barton though and then starts claiming that QPR are more ambitious, so naturally I'm going to defend my club.

Not sure why this topic even came up, but I find it difficult to ignore comments like that. Perhaps he was wumming and I didn't realise.

Don't count you out until the transfer window is over, jesus christ man, how much evidence of Ashley ****ing you over do you need. How is Cabaye far better, Nolan shat all over us in the two games last year while Cabaye did exactly nothing. You have replaced Carroll with Ba who most of your own fans have been calling Shola Mark 2. As for QPR I don't know who they have signed as I am only really interested in Sunderland but I am sure they must be better or why sign them.

Ha ha ha ha , the topic came up because I am sick of seeing you on our boards. You have been claiming all day that your only interested in football debate and it does not matter to you what forum its on. I try to have some debate with you (sorry, I didn't realize it had to be totally thread specific) and you spit your dummy out.

If you want to talk football fine, if you want to peddle your passive aggressive balls please do it somewhere else.

You talk about defending your club but when we do against your sly little comments on this board you cry about only wanting to debate, then there is a bit of debate about your club on our board and you don't like it, pathetic.

Commachio has inspired me here, I really couldn't give a **** about what you have to say. I came on this thread to help Bill, not to get into yet ANOTHER pointless argument with a mackem wearing sunderland-tinted spectacles.

Participating in a natural discussion is very different from a participating in a debate which you've started because you're 'sick of seeing me on your board'. Don't you think?

I enjoy good fresh debates. I don't enjoy the same **** being spewed up after the 50th time. Whilst I do enjoy footballing debates, I'm selective. Some are good, some are ****. Yours is ****.

Ha ha ha ha ha, I wasn't wumming just turning the tables and you have spat your dummy out all over the place. Run along little boy.

Your selective are you, why do you appear on almost every thread on this board then.

As I've stated before: Chappaz seems like a decent enough lad (sometimes), but it is the fact that he feels the need to comment on every (well nearly every) single Sunderland thread that drives people over the edge at times, and that is why he gets so much abuse thrown his way...

Cest was made to feel as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool, by a tiny minority of our own!
For having the nerve to post actual facts about our wins and losses over the latter part of last season and this season. And voiced his total loss of faith in Bruce as a tactician and manager.
Yep he made a couple of rash comments after the boot boys had started on him.
The Mugs then joined in kicking him whilst down, encouraged again by some of our own.
Although I don't know Cest personally I'm pretty sure he would have retracted a couple of comments said in the heat of the moment, when being castigated from all sides.

Like I said earlier mate, glad to see you back I thought you had been driven away by abuse to your good self. <ok>

It's not what Cest say's that gets peoples back's up. Many agree with him. It's the torrent of personal abuse he often uses to get his point across.
If you give it you've got to be prepared to take it. Seems he isn't.

Aint that the truth, but believe you me, Cest will still be looking at these threads, OK, silently, but I think he will come back, some of his threads are realy interesting, unfortunately, If you dissagree, you are less than pond life, saying that mildly, he just explodes, needs to take himself aside and have a word. then return, Id give him breathing space wouldnt you?

Right folks, I asked a question, and Chap was the first to answer, and I got the gist in one, so fair play to him. what I didnt expect was the veering away from my question, think about it, and look at what you posted, why give a guy a hard time for helping me out, and I was asking for an answer. and he gave me the answers. but a lot of you folks helped none whatsoever, just venting supposed spleens, ****in grow up. this was not a war, only a question asked, and an answer given.

Problem is Bill you have been away for a few weeks so maybe ****ing grow up is an unwise statement. Chap did answer and over the past few days seems to have toned down but the reaction, alough unfortunate is understandable, its the past few weeks of non stop preaching that cuased it. I know chap will say, no, I was not preaching but its how many viewed it.

Hopefully all is calming down now and we have ALL indeed grown up a little.
