Very,very quite......almost too quite.
Quite :) I agree with the sentiment....even by Saints standards it is quiet. We must be down to our third choices by now and even they will want to take us for a ride, but without the leverage to make us up the ante. I know Long's illness isn't likely to be prolonged, but it has exposed our vulnerability.....we can't go into the rest of the season with just 2 strikers....we can't count on Austin being available much. We need the loan of a reasonable striker as emergency cover as a bare minimum.

The main thing for me is that I can't see him jumping straight into another job....especially with a team like us, we are not a Man United or Chelsea. He'll have a nice amount of money to put his feet up and consider his options.....I know that is what I would do in his place.

Seems unlikely after the reports coming from Wilson that we would sack Pellegrino after a draw and improved performance to Spurs as well. Only reason to do so would be if we really wanted some new players as the next league game is on the 31st so sacking him if we lose that one would leave the new manager with no opportunity to sign anyone.
