and root went to hospital too.

this should have been day night game. Ridiculous conditions.

but look on the bright side.. players got off quicker by being crap.

Basically if england don't have a real chance of the win the team folds like paper. if theres a real dig in and fight needed none of them are interested.

i reckon they should just make the captain role redundant and let the coach run the thing.

what REALLY does a captain have to do REALLY.

1. bowler always wants his own field and pisses and moans. so you've Anderson and broach down one end conspiring and talking all the time.

2. decide who bowls... well surely someone off field with a birds eye view of action and tv could call this better?

3. declares... meh who cares

4. talks to media.. again easily down by a suit.

sure the best batsman should be focused on being the best batsman and looking out for his job.

The captain is much more important on a cricket pitch than on a football pitch, MITO. Look at Mike Brearley. A ****er and a journeyman batsman, but a fantastic captain who got the very best from his players <ok>

meh..... thats old school ****.

do it all from the stands.

TBH all i see is every England captain suffers personal form drop off and just goes to pot. we just pick best player and ruin them.
 
3 good wins. Only one day stuff but better to win that 5-0 than get stuffed.

Were prob best in the world atm in 50 over cricket. Just have runs all through the team. Bowling is still bit iffy, don’t think we reallly have any WC bowlers to match the WC batsmen we have in Butler, Morgan, Stokes
