Afternoon folks, just back, have missed about five weeks of total internet, which actually is not a bad thing, but reading some of the threads, seems like Cest has done a runner, anybody care to bring me up to speed, will read all the threads that I have missed, but that is going to take me some time, and being a nosey bastard, like my info quicker, if you know what I mean.

After the derby defeat, Cestria suddenly developed a theory that Bruce was intentionally losing the derbies because he used to be a Newcastle supporter and wanted to please his Newcastle-supporting family. Yes, that's genuinely what he thought.

He decided to tell everyone about this theory and make some threads about it, and obviously, not only did fellow mackems disagree with the idea, they also found it a bit ridiculous, so everyone started calling him an idiot and telling him to stop talking nonsense.

Cestria didn't like this, spat his dummy out, decided to quit the forum and made a goodbye thread.

Pretty much it in a nutshell.

Newcastle. I don't really care where I post. If I see a thread where I fancy saying something, I will. Don't distinguish between whether it's on our board or your board. All part of the same forum.

Yet another helpful and genuine post from a mag is attacked by a horrible, bitter and hateful little man. ****ers like you are too stupid to realise that YOU turn your board into a place full of arguments by posting bullshit like that for no reason. Get a grip.

Why are we continuosly having a go at mags purely for being mags. Fair comment when they are just spouting pure tosh like some of them do but i feel Chappaz actually occasionally posts some relevant stuff on here. I would rather see mags on our forum than fans of any other club as at least they have more of a reason for being here and not just being nosey bastards.

Its obvious we will get a few coming on here to take the piss about the derby and can anyone on here actually say hand on heart they wouldnt do the same thing if the roles where reversed. I occasionally ahve a butchers on their board to see how they feel things are going with their club. After all we are only 12 miles apart from each other and what we do influences them and vice versa. Im sick of hearing comments coming from the mags on here that it is a football forum not just a Sunderland forum as they are right and it pains me to have to side with a mag over a mackem. If you dont like what they comment then dont bite just let them get on with it. They would get bored eventually but our persistant biting is just adding fuel to their fire.

To be honest, I don't mind you being on our board, Chappaz, although a lot of your fellow skunks do get on my nerves.

Well said pal. Its in the face of adversity that true strength shows through. Weve just got to keep the faith that what we are doing as a club is right and we will get our results come the end of the season. The last 5 days have been **** but lets hope the next 5 months are good and fruitful.

    Cheers.

I wouldn't have minded so much if he had attacked me for one of my footballing-related opinions because they occasionally go against the grain, but I was just trying to be helpful here ffs. Some people need to give it a rest.

If your so interested in discussing football on the Sunderland board please tell us what you think of your best player just getting off the train to sign for a much more ambitious club than Newcastle in QPR.

It ****ing sucks. They aren't more ambitious than us though that's ridiculous. QPR are just apparently offering quite a big contract which is as good as, if not better, than what we're offering now. Thanks to Ashley and Llambias falling out with Barton, he's unlikely to get that here, BUT he can still stay put for another year if he wishes. Nothing stopping him.

I'll lose all respect for Barton if it's true though. All he ever said was that he loves it here, he has unfinished business here and would only leave for CL football. Now he's on his way to relegation-candidates QPR for a nice boatload of cash. He could stay if he wanted to and he knows the fans want him to as well.

It appears to me that the North East will only ever be mid table prem at best at the moment.....the only other way is down. As for Barton is it not the case that he's doing it to stick two fingers up at Ashley etc?
