Untrue. At their peak they’ve played quick, dynamic football. We’ve not played 90 good minutes this season.
Well even this season at our peak we've played good football, it's just that it is only ever a max of 45 mins and usually only 10-15 mins per game whilst we're **** the remainder.

I will say that I'd be somewhat surprised if we appointed him - purely based on the fact that we didn't appoint him last season, when we had a open goal to do so.

If we were more interested in trying to get a couple of million of compensation from a French club for Puel, that hardly suggests that appointing Silva was a priority.

You are taking my comments WAY too personally. You can't deny that it is ridiculous for us to be in the position we are now, when Leicester are in a very c
omfortable 7th place.[/QUOT
Sounds like they feel the Everton approach ruined his focus.

Come on les, he's an improvement at least!

Maybe it's not Everton that has unsettled him?
Naughty Les?

If I was in charge I would sack MP2 and get Silva in on Monday on an 18month contract. If we still get relegated he will be a good manager in the championship and probably won't get better offers and leave. If we stay up who gives a sh!t if he leaves, job done.

He might get a better offer abroad, but it's a good point in relation to English football.

If he had two successive PL relegations on his CV (albeit having taken over post-Xmas in both circumstances), together with a further short spell sandwiched inbetween those two which culminated in his sacking, then I'm not sure they'd be too many PL clubs queuing up to take him from us.

Quite staggered by that sacking.

It is odd how fancied he was by Saints in the summer yet the "perfect fit" at Watford has clearly diminished Silva's reputation at least for loyalty is not for the uneven results. Should Saints approach? I don't know but it is pretty clear that the current incumbent is out of his depth and the threat of relegation may prompt a re-think. Personally, I think we should let bygones be bygones and get Koeman back.
