Not bothered to look. I expect Rooney goals to be mostly pens Tbh, he's always been a good finisher. Sterling is greatly improved in his finishing and since a lot of them are offered up on a plate then it doesn't surprise me one bit - you have to be in the right place to score.
I half agree. He has made some good kicks out (one of which was probably the best pass I've seen all season - from any player) but mostly City try to play out from the back. All of which would be irrelevant if he can't make saves.
I think those first few games when he did miss quite a few chances (but still scored) have stuck in his memory bank, while the last 25 games where he's been pretty prolific have been quickly forgotten! A shrink would say that he's #indenial
I'd agree that the coaching isn't up to scratch. I think this is obvious with Mig. He has good reflexes and is a good shot-stopper, the areas where he is poor are the ones where you would expect a good coach to be able to improve him. He has improved, but not enough.
nah, i work for fifa. If you donate 20 quid to guide dogs i will endorse your view whole heartedly and champion your version of clinical Seriously though, i'm pretty that's how people defined finishing ability. May have to start a topic on it
I think Lamborini is right - currently, neither goalie is good enough. But the difference is Migs has had plenty of opportunities and time to establish himself whereas Karius has been in and out of the team as well as having the media scrutinise his every move (I don’t care what anyone says but Neville is leading the agenda with his constant remakes and commentary). Give Karius until the end of the season to see if he improves. He at least has the potential to improve whereas Migs doesn’t. Let’s find out once and for all. Then reassess at the end of the season. Karius May not the be the long term solution but Migs is DEFINITELY not. But we should definitely get rid of Achterberg. Waste of space
Not just my definition- try the Oxford dictionary: clinical adjective 1Relating to the observation and treatment of actual patients rather than theoretical or laboratory studies. ‘clinical medicine’ ‘clinical drug trials’ 1.1 (of a disease or condition) causing observable and recognizable symptoms. ‘clinical depression’ 2Very efficient and without feeling; coldly detached. ‘nothing was left to chance—everything was clinical’ No mention of sitters at all.
The problem for me is that even if Karius has the potential to be better than Mig, he isn't currently. By all means look to the future, but we can't afford to risk spoiling this season while he learns his craft.
. Not sure that is applied to football but i can't argue against that. So what word do i use for someone who is great at converting their decent chances? finishing ability or is their not a word for that?
But we’re risking the season by persisting with Migs as well. He makes just as many mistakes. My point is is that we’re in a lose lose so we may as well go with the option with potentially more reward.
You realise Salah scored from 45 yards yesterday On serious note, Salah has plenty of shots from outside the box. Could prob find a split on how many he’s had somewhere I’d yoj wanted to check out him and Kane’s comparison.
