in his dfiffence though that 3 incidents thats hardly a massive amount in what will have equated to a massive amount of pitch time and when you think of some of the assaults he's endured such as the wolves debacle you'll see thats not even that bad. 'cleaner' players than him will have been done for more in the same amount of time.

Bartons twitter rants, the fact he is despised by the rest of football, has been causing problems on the pitch and his crosses becoming useless (Mostly Amadonkeys fault) IMO is making him a liability, he isn't putting in the performances to justify all the rubbish he is producing. Much like Enrique near the end of last season when his form dropped.

I can't see him staying, I'd like him too, but wouldn't be devastated if he left mind.
 
why is it with our club whenever we seem to be taking a step in the right direction we then go and take two steps backwards??

I know where you're coming from but Pardew is not Ferguson, he doesn't have that kind of power. He has tried his best to broker a peace deal but clearly things have not really moved forward. There is not much he can do if the board won't offer him a contract. He knows that while that remains the case the decision rests with Barton. The club have the perfect "he wanted to go" excuse if he does go because they can say there was nothing to stop him seeing out his last year. I'd love Barton to stay but the reality is if a player is told by a club he is not wanted, he only has a year left, and there is no hope of another contract, regardless of how he feels about the club he is more likely to go. I just don't think it'll be QPR. I hope he stays, it would be a massive blow but I've been kinda resigned to it since they fell out. I think they're quite keen to get rid of him because of his wages and his reputation.

Would that not therefore be a tapping up case? Although he is available on a free transfer, he is still contracted to the club, with more than 6 months left to run on his deal.

Can you name another player who has nigh broke someone's leg with a horrific terrible challenge, punched a player and picked another player by the neck? DeJong withstanding.
Not saying Barton is an out and out thug but there's definitely anger management issues. Just saying.

Anyway. Im preparing myself for insults from Tash.

But, if Barton does decide to leave I wouldnt consider it a massive problem. So long as he is replaced. The dressing room seems like it would still have a cracking atmosphere without him.

I cant decide whether I like the guy. or whether I consider him to abit of an arse. No doubt he is a cracking a player. But sometimes, with what he says and does. It just ****ing annoys me.
