My attitude on this now is, if you're going for him, get him. Don't **** it up. Just get the deal done and move on, sharpish. The problem is, I do not trust the Glazers and Woodward to carry that out.
That’s my feeling on it as well, I don’t trust Woodward when it comes to transfers, The Glazers better give Mourinho want he wants.
Sanchez's agent will smash this 'cheap' deal to pieces, he'll be demanding £30m for Sanchez himself and his own huge fee. This player will cost whoever buys him upwards of £60m before wages for sure.
And a huge amount for Sanchez to sign on. There's no chance he's moving for peanuts now when he can pocket £30m in June.
I'd sack the agent and pocket the 5 mill. You don't need an agent to get a contract, you just got to state what you want. Especially if you are an established player. Pay a lawyer to cross the T's and dot the I's.
He’ll still go to City. Pep has Wenger over a barrel. Either Arsenal will sell Sanchez to City for £15m, or they’ll get him in the Summer for nothing. I’m sure Sanchez can wait 6 months. It’s your choice, Wenger.
Manchester City have pulled out of a deal to sign Sanchez over wages and fees demanded by the player's agent. (Goal) Right. So, City can't afford to meet Sanchez's wage demands, but United can, yeah? Bollocks, can they!
I’d like him to sign. I’ve stated before that he’s the best player in the league although that was prior to this season and De Bruyne tearing it up. Still think he’ll go to City and complete their super attack.
Man City do have the wealthiest owners in the league, no one is disputing that. But even they have a limit to what they can spend, as they still have to prove they are conforming with financial fair play. They've spent a lot this last year already, so it's perfectly logical that United might have more money available and can out bid them in the market, when you consider most of Uniteds funds come from their world wide following, something City or no other PL club can compete with. PSG another club like City are having the same problems, having to loan MBappe and then buy him the following year to keep within the ffp rules. So even if you've got billionaire owners prepared to spend the money, there is still always a limit.
Gotta say that Sanchez is looking a right greedy twat now. A 6 month strip cos he wants to play for city to be part of the city project and Peps revolution ... and now United have offered more than City he wants to go there? And it ain't like city weren't offering big money for his wages either.
Football is an immature industry. Where sulky bastards get what they want. Wherever he goes...I hope he flops...can't stand a professional who downs tools. It says a lot about him...most of it, I don't like. Apparently his leach aka agent wants 10 mill, which would go on top of the 30 mill asking price. Greedy sons of bitches.
I don't know why anyone is suprised? The large majority of footballers and people in general will work for whoever pays them the best wage. Money always has and always will be the number 1 motivating factor. Anyone who tells you otherwise is in denial. Having said that, the fact City won't even pay the fee Arsenal want, 35m which is cheap for a player of his talents is hardly them showing the player they want him. It'll be good for us to get one over on them anyways, as it just proves we are more than a match for them in the market, and they won't be buying all the silverware forever, just like has been predicted.
£250m per week and win the title in 4 months £300m per week and do not win the title in 4 months Gotta say that the extra 50k per week would mean **** all to me But then I am a sock dodging hippy mo fo
I'm not surprised...but I won't accept that football is like any other job. No ****ing way is it like any other Job...footballers are spoiled brats and fans feed their egos too much. I expect more back from someone if I am emotionally consumed in the badge he wears.
