Lenihan is probably injured. Kingsley for me has the potential to be one of our worst ever signings. I haven't seen anything from him prior to his injury to suggest he even knows what a left back is let alone play that position. Swansea sold us a lame duck in that one.

You might be right, you might be too eager.

Popular rumour is The Slut did little to no defensive work and maybe Kingsley is like Luke Shaw and needs constant rigid instruction.

Or he might be dogga.

That's the spirit!

Have to say I’m in the other school. If we’re gonna play Toral, Bowen / Grosicki / AN Winger and Evandro with Henriksen in reserve and maybe even Mason returning then we’ll only play with 1 striker so Dicko, Campbell, Abel and Weir is enough in my eyes, even allowing for a slow return to full fitness for 3 of them.

Weir? Think you mean Keane.

If we could get any fee for Hernandez in January, I'd be tempted to cash in.

Rick tweeted earlier saying we're paying a squad of 28. We can't just keep adding more and more without losing some
I thought you had insurance for injuries or is that just if the player gets injured on International duty?

If they are insured then we're only paying about 15 players.

Insurance on players is bollocks apparently, after the whole Bullard thing it came out that most players aren’t insured!

If they get crocked on international duty, I think the national FA pays their wages. But I could be wrong

Lenihan and Kingsley?

You might not rate them but they are full backs.

I don't expect we'll ever see Lenihan again, he was our poorest player against Donny in the cup and wasn't even included in the cup squad for the Blackburn game, I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves by mutual consent this window.

I think Kingsley could still turn out to be a decent player, he's not had chance to get going yet.

Apart from not having any cover. A player like Rosenior that could cover both full back positions would be ideal.

But Kingsley's not far away and Meyler can cover right back too. I'd like to see someone like Rosenior, but that's probably going to have to wait till the summer

The jury on Kingsley is well out. I'm not convinced at all by anything he has demonstrated so far. He is supposed to be a specialist LB. I'd rather play Clark or Aina ahead of him. He hasn't looked at all like a decent signing.

Have to say I agree, I was disappointed what I have seen so far, but maybe he was carrying an injury, so will give him the benefit of doubt. So far Clark has looked the better of the two.
