Bang healthy and very low fat.
You don't need an egg Luv, just take your Feta cheese out of the fridge when you're ready to cube it up and coat in seasoned flour. Job done! I serve mine as the pic with salad & croutons with balsamic vinegar drizzled over the salad.I'm doing it this weekend, egg and seasoned flour for the coating and fry. The feta I use is very crumbly so will have to take care with it. I'll think of something to go with it to make it into a main I think.
Love feta. Never thought about frying it though!
Goes great in a salad with black olives, chopped peppers, cherry toms, red onion etc. Dress with Virgin olive oil and oregano.
Lovely with any sort of shish kebab, especially lamb![]()

Egg and beetroot salad for this saintly pescatarian.
Lovely.
I'll have to remember that. There's near where I'm working, be ideal for my current 'diet'.
I always go to Asda, I could piss on it from my office. More or less!
I used to use Lidl for quite a few things but regarding your crayfish, do you live near a river or fishing lakes?I live a 2 min walk from ASDA but still drive to Lidl for a lot of things and always for the weekly shop.

What I was getting at is if you live near a river or fishing lakes you can get the fishermen to catch them for you or apply to your local river authority to put a crayfish basket down. I used to have the river Kennet run by at the bottom of my garden and had three baskets which were pretty much full every day. what I never used I bartered with the local pub restaurants for beer. They are everywhere here in lakes but you're not allowed to fish for them which is silly. I don't think the Lidl ones are local at all.

Ps. As long as you put the indigenous red crayfish back.
A pest indeed, they were introduced in the 60's to replaced our indigenous species but they were also carriers of that disease. They also eat fish eggs a plenty which has seen fish stocks dwindle. I'm sure any bailiff would be happy to supply you given a backhander proving he isn't selling them direct to buyers. There's a lake nearby in the grounds of a castle and it's chocca full of them but they wont allow you to take them out, the Portugese and Polish immigrants are forever climbing over the walls and getting them. I think they are the American signal ones though that are considered a pest and the concern is that people will add them to other lakes and rivers.
