Would be decent if liverpool came in for Tadic to be fair. Shame the manager doesn't rate Pied - I've always thought he looks decent
He has hardly played but I didn't think he was injured - could be wrong. But mainly because we are (apparently) looking for a back up right back. Can't think why we need one unless Pied is not good enough
Sky says we are looking at Guido Carrillo of Monaco who has played under MP2 at Estudiantes. Also Fulham interested in Targett on loan. Not that Whiteley has reported bit about Carrillo....but hey saves you scrolling back.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...on-contact-Monaco-striker-Guido-Carrillo.html Also reported in the Mail. NB. Virgil has a really smackable face....could play cricket for Australia.
Yeah I thought so too. If he isn't deemed good enough to play over a CB it doesn't look good for him Although I question the managers voice to play Stephens over Pied. He offers **** all going forward and full backs are so important in attacking these days
Pied definitely picked up an injury quite early during the Crystal Palace game, in fact I was surprised when he came out for the second half. So that's presumably why Bednarak came in at RB on Saturday
http://www.ciderspace.co.uk/ASP/news/news.asp?NewsItemId=28037 Yeovil manager claims that they have put in the largest bid in their history for Olomolo....probably would have to be, but I bet not enough....unless Saints just want to clear someone off their books.
http://readsouthampton.com/2018/01/08/carrillo-reportedly-keen-link-pellegrino/ Carrillo keen to join up with MP2....supposedly, but interestingly he scored a hat trick on Saturday against a lowly side in a cup.
Well at least he is likely now to know where the net is: which would be a vast improvement on what we currently have.
I just think that someone big and strong, who can hold the ball up and win a header will be massive. Would improve our play no end.
Agreed. We do lack for an outlet to hold the ball up since we lost Pelle and before that Lambert (who did that role brilliantly), as we lack creativity and l do think its good to have that option available.
