Its only the league cup, and even though I too am baffled by Steve Bruces selection and tactics for todays game, id take this with a pinch of salt. We lost to Stevenage in the FA last year 3-1 with a very admirable team out too, and still overall, at the end of the season, finished above ours and many other peoples expectations. Once your team gels you'll be ok, and id be thankful for Gyan being on the bench, if he gets injured your left with Wickham. Then you'll be proper f**ked.

Piss off and mind your own feckin business, thats it !! Im bloody sick of the lovefest this bloody forum has with the skunks.I have thought long and hard about this, but I can see exactly where Cestria was comming from. There is absolutley no bloody excuse for Bruce's selections tonight and I have no more faith....a striker (proven) is required but I wouldnt let Bruce sign him get O Niell in quick

That would be fine if he came out and said, "League is more important, I am going to play the yougsters this match" but he didnt, he said he would love to win a cup (like he did before the Notts County game last year) and played 1st team players, but out of position and no striker to speak off.

Showing an evident lack of ambition looks much worse on a manager in my opinion.

I've put money on him going now... It might as well have been a qualifier for the champions league as far as I'm concerned!

Well i know we are no Arsenal with youngsters, but he could hve played either Ji or Wickham from the start, or even both, with Gyan to come on if it wasnt working, and sess behind them, or even drop sess completely.

I am still not in the Bruce out camp yet, but his selection was really baffling I have to say, and it definately looked like he didnt give a **** about getting through.

Dude, lumfish wasnt exactly wumming you was he? Just gave an opinion, and a rather positive opinion too. There's no need at all tell him to piss off etc. Its an open forum, if you dont like it, im sure there are plenty of other Sunderland only forums out there. Which, I doubt will be as good as this one.

He was being perfectly genuine and nice. Absolutely no need to be an arsehole for no reason. We spend so much time bickering on here it's refreshing to see people getting along and having a bit crack on but muppets like you are determined to just cause more grief purely for the sake of it. This is a FORUM. It's here for DISCUSSION ABOUT FOOTBALL.
    .
    Keep your anger to yourself.

What makes you think we have separate 'sites'? These are sections of the same forum, and we're allowed to post wherever we like - Sunderland and Newcastle fans alike.

This is your forum section but it's still in our forum. If you don't like that some fans of different teams cross over from time to time, leave.

Your anger is misplaced, do yourself a favour and don't do the long forum arguement about such trivia. Or, you know, don't pay attention to me telling you what to do and have yourself a **** half hour making yourself sound like more of a ****.

Mate. Think before you ****ing write. Sunderland fans are on Newcastle's forum quite alot too. So, dont make out its just us swarming your part of the forum. Its a site for football discussion, and there's nothing much to discuss about Newcastle this evening. Whats wrong with Newcastle fans trying to discuss football with Sunderland fans? Nothing. Nothing at all. I bet if Lumfish was a Blackburn fan, your reaction would totally ****ing different.

Well Chappaz Skalpel, you win boys I will leave, you can look over my posts over the months I have contributed to my clubs section on this site and I have always provided a balanced and reasonable view, My upset today fuelled by a degree of anger I must admit...is still valid I believe, in that I feel you intrude too much and the views are condosending and patronising (excuse spelling)

    Appreciate all you said TBH.
Much is being wrote on this forum which I expect wouldn't be said face to face.
The tide of public support is swinging towards the exit door for Mr Bruce. Whilst that in it'self is recoverable. What if Quinn decides he can do no more. Tried his best only for our fans throw it back in his face!
Quinn is an honorable man. If Bruce gets hounded out I can see Quinny walking. Then we would be deservedly..........****ed.

Yes. Another forum. If the guy can't accept the fact that this is a footballing forum with different club sections which we can all use together, then perhaps he's better off at a sunderland-only forum.
