So did I, but Sir Alec Guiness stirred up the Empire in the first film by sacrificing himself to Lord Vader, this making for a very bumpy ride over the next four or five films. Let’s hope the Last jedi can calm things down.
They will and it may or may not work out.
Looking at the club's that have changed some will improve. But looking at all on the list would our fans have gone into further meltdown with any of those appointments for saints

I would not have moaned if we had got Allardyce , but I am aware I am in a minority .
Yes, there will be many who say he is an improvement on what we have but how many fans would really want him as a saints manager
Because I think he is far better than he gets credit for . Mud has stuck , but I think he is good .
Oh, no doubt about his record. It's very good.
Taking away his England indiscretions would the majority of fans been pleased if we had appointed him last summer. I suspect given his style of play many would have seen it as a desperate appointment.
If it works , he’s doing OK at Everton .
But yes , the majority would be against it .
It will be interesting to see who stoke appoint but I suspect it will be more Ryan Giggs than Carlos Ancelloti.
I am hoping they do appoint Giggs at Stoke.
The mud has stuck for a reason. I’ve never doubted he gets results ever. I don’t like the man. I think he’s a a bad egg and I’ve posted previously about why (off field and in dressing room stuff).
Nor would I as I’d like for us to stay up. He’s also a good man manager and it feels like that’s what we need. Long term though, not sure he’s the right guy.
