Thing is it's another window with Charnley. Last time out he took 2 months to get Lejeune in. A player who had a release clause. The delay was because Charnley kept haggling over the release clause to pay less. The result? We just paid the clause. Two months after we said we would.
We don't do "under the radar". Everyone knew we about Lejeune. Everyone knew we wanted Abraham. Everyone knew, in spite of a month of chat, he was going to Swansea. Jacob Murphy was another that was well known, we don't seem to be able to operate smoothly and sneakily.
I fear there's just nothing with any substance, apart from us needing to wait for Chelsea to sign a backup left back.

Apparently bids have been made for Slimani and Ings on loan with view to buy. Ings has been the fart that flat-out refuses to go away, I don't see the point in wasting a squad place on a glass structure.
Apparently Burnley after Ritchie, If we could get a good replacement (i know) maybe I'd go for it. Crossing has been woeful lately and seems too pre-occupied with getting his first goal. A speedier winger would fit the system.
