Slightly off-topic, but as an ex-business analyst (basically specifying requirements for the software engineers to translate into workable code) I always steered clear of using midnight to define a time/date and always specified 23:59, or 00:01, so that it was clear whether it was the end of one day, or the start of the next.

I never said it was interesting :rolleyes:

FWIW, I suspect that the club have already lined up their signings, but the clubs we are buying from are now haggling over the price, as everyone knows how much money we have to play with.

They know we have a nice big pot now and will undoubtedly want a much bigger part of it than before we sold VVD. Also they know we are desperate so will bump the price up further still. I don't think we will get Jim Magilton for much less than £50m, but here's hoping.
