Most of me is vintage 1960s, with a few later additions to hold it all together

The window opens at midnight on the 1st, I’m not sure whether that’s tonight or tomorrow night!

 

As far as I am aware, we have two rules in play here. One that says the transfer window opens at midnight tonight (so Virgil officially becomes a Liverpool player in nine hours). Another that says for a player to feature in a match, they must be registered by midday the day before the match (thus why Virgil cannot play tomorrow, because Liverpool could not register him before midday today).

 

if it is midnight tonight, will anyone be in a fit state to sign?
