John W Henry simply forwards the screenshot to Barca with a note "this will cost you another £50m and a public apology"

We don't need or want to sell, and can simply say to Coutinho Barca are unwilling to behave professionally and meet simple demands

Well you either have 1 DM and 2 more adventurous midfielders or 1 advanced midfielder and 2 deeper ones. In the first, it would be someone specialized like Kante with Coutinho and Keita ahead of him with lots of freedom. That would be my favourited approach. In the second it would be Keita and Goretzka with Coutinho ahead of them and the two deeper ones rotate and cover. Basically, Coutinho just needs to do what he wants with cover for him from elsewhere.

He'll have licence to go forward..just need someone to drop back when he does.

As things stand he's easily our best number 6 so unless Klopp buys another it makes sense imo.

What if Klopp is planning to switching to three at the back with Lovren and Matip playing either side of VVD?

Allows the FBs more freedom, let's VVD step forward and sees all our attacking talents play

I don't. Matip rarely attacks the ball so he'll just leave it to VVD.

I see a bigger issue bergen VVD and Lovren. Dejan loves to dive in

Yeah and then leave holes in behind. I just think it's better for the DM to step back than the defender to step out. If that makes sense
