Looks like this will be make or break for Pellegrino then. We will back him with big funds and if the results do t dramatically improve he will be gone in a couple of months.

Thing is, we won't bring in any of Pellegrino's players anyways.

So it seems that we have no intention of sacking MP at present then, not keen on thar at all and said it was my worry about the Virgil deal.
To be fair he’s only just got here. I don’t really want to see another managerial change. I’d rather he just toughened up and got nasty with one or two of our divas. Show them who’s boss and demand they show some effort.

With the talk of some squad members not happy to be here etc, and rumours of possible incomings, what must Gardos and Bedenak be thinking , and whyever can they not be offered even a dog's chance of some playing time.. ?
===================================================
''Gardos is happy on 30k a week and never actually playing. Plus he can't actually defend. ''

==================================================

Aha, right so Les and the magical black box overlooked that vital fact then, ... that's a very comfortable take home for doing nowt...
ditto with Bedenak..? or one for 'the future; ? or someone snaps him up for tuppence and then its found that he wasnt so bad after all ..?

I just don't like how he sets his team up! Hopefully though, he gets the players he wants, and we see more attacking football. Looks like he's not getting the boot, so lets see if he ends up getting it right.

Have you watched Gardos play? He can't even defend playing u23's. He will be released end of the season

Bednarek hasn't been that good either. But he probably needs more time

I do laugh sometimes.

Yesterday everyone talked about when MP2 gets the boot and today with Virgil sold and plans to sign new players, we’ve obviously decided to stick with him.

I’m pretty damn sure that nothing has changed. IF we don’t improve and things look perilous, he’ll be sacked. If not. Then he’ll stay.

Fans flip flop so quickly.

I do hope that the signings we are rumoured to be making have in fact been made already and are simply waiting to be announced. Our prospective targets are about to get a “we know you got £70m for VVD” premium added otherwise. I still can’t believe we allowed it to go public.

I suspect his fate will be decided on Wednesday morning. There would be nothing to gain by leaving him hanging after that, and if he's still in place for the Cup tie at Fulham, then you'd have to say it looks like he has been given until the end of the season.

I think we should let a consortium of fans make all the key decisions about Saints. It would be like the time Homer Simpson was consulted on the design of a new car (it had everything he asked for, and was an uneconomic, undriveable mess).

It could be that the players we currently have don't allow him to play the way he would like.

I have my doubts but we need to stick by the team and the manager to give them the best chance possible. Only been in charge a few months so very early days

The price for Theo will interest me. Arsenal don't tend to sell for ludicrous prices, he isn't getting anywhere close to their first team, and he only has 18 months left. On the other hand, it's January, he's English, we're desperate, Arsenal now know that we have money, and I suspect we won't be the only side after Theo.

I can see anything between about £8m and £25m. I've really got no idea.

Just look at the number who changed their vote on MP, after the Everton win!

Anymore then £15m and I will say no thanks

I still want him gone. But if the board want to keep him, then there is nothing I can do but support the team
