You're changing your tune again suddenly, only a few days ago you were talking about losing him and Davies like we would be better with them now.
When he booked Larsson I literally lost it. I couldn’t understand what he was booked for, then someone said it was for a pull but there was no advantage what so ever. Huddlestone should have been booked when he mowed down Toral. Ledley should have had about 4 bookings in total. And Carson was wasting time from the start. I also think it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a ref blow for half time when we just got a corner! Anyway Derby where dog turd, I thought they where when we lost 5-0 and I still think it now, just a team of experienced cloggers who know how to win games when I front. Everything we lack. They have no pace what so ever, and Rowetts game plan is horrendously boring. Shows how poor this Division is. Davies was excellent by the way.
There were a few boos in the South stand when Henriksen came on and some pretty loud discontent when Aina's name was read out, some people really are ****s. I did like how rushed the bloke said Stewart's name. He got the crowd going with the other ten names, then sort of went "aaaaaaaaaaannd number35kevinstewartonthebenchforthetigers"
What’s even more frustrating is other than wolves and they aren’t invincible it’s a **** standard. If only ehab wasnt such a crank and had put a bit of thought and forward planning into pre season we’d be in a decent position with not only promotion on the horizon but a sale would be much more appealing to a potential buyer and I suspect at a higher price than we would currently be worth........but no one tells the Allams how to run their business
As I kept telling you - drop Meyler and we'll stop shipping goals - poor old Slutskys didn't know what to do - the fans bayed for Meyler, he's a talisman, first name on the team sheet - and the silly old sod started picking him and we started to leak like a sieve - thankfully we've started to put some form together - much tighter at the back although I think Dawson is playing much better than he was earlier in the season - we just need to start taking our chances now and we might start to move up the league
Well top 6 is a write-off now. So you have to ask the questions: 1) Do the Allams care if the club get relegated? 1a) If yes, do they think Nigel can turn things around with minimal/no acquisitions? 1b) As per 1a), but can he do it after also selling Grosicki and Bowen? 2) Are the Allams interested in getting promoted next season and therefore letting Nigel start assembling a squad now, so that he can build some foundations and encourage others to sign in the summer? Based on a "third party" taking over the running next season, I'd say that 2) is unlikely. So I think it comes down to 1).
He has made the side much better defensively which gives you a chance in any game. Its all down to organization and players not only in defence but all over the pitch doing a job, when the other side have the ball we get back into shape quickly. I thought this didn't happen before and we looked spread out all over the pitch leaving to many gaps. All we needed today was to put just one of those great chances in the back of the net to win. Having a player like Cambell or Hernandez would have made all the difference in fact has our injury situation hopefully gets better it should give us a great chance to move away from the bottom three. In the past three games we have played Cardiff, Leeds and Derby and not one has out played us yet we have only come away with one point and that has mainly been down to oupr lack of finishing.
Pleased with a point but we should have won that by 2 goals, perhaps those on here writing us off before a ball was even kicked should have a bit more faith in the team. Sure we've got problems and our owners are *****, but for ***** sake let's get behind the lads.
I've been working lots of Saturdays in the last few months, so today was only my third or fourth game of the season, but I've got to say, I was quite impressed. We certainly look a different kettle of fish under Adkins; he's got a point to prove, and it shows. Third-placed team made to look ****e. A bit more composure in front of goal and we'd have won with plenty to spare. No surprise to see a fair bit of moaning on here, though. Same in the stadium today. I felt like twatting one **** who did nowt but whine and call players ****e all afternoon... Onwards and upwards, City.
