Off to Selhurst Park this afternoon for Palace Vs Stoke:emoticon-0119-puke:. I have a very old friend who is a S/T holder there, and who also has muscular dystrophy, so I'll be going as his carer. Come on Stoke.

No chance of having a look round.

Next time I'll coincide visiting my mate when there is a game on.

Bearing in mind what happened that game must have been a grim experience FHB, I don't envy you. At least they are still bottom of the table.
Hope your old friend was OK though...

Today sees my Saturday afternoon entertainment watching CB Hounslow v Balham, this is a Combined Counties League game.

If I get bored I will count the planes landing at Heathrow.

CB Hounslow ran out easy 5-0 winners.

It was a very entertaining game with both sides not playing hoofball and trying to play on the deck.

Balham were very tippy tappy and would have played all night without scoring.

Hadley v Biggleswade United yesterday in the Spartan South Midlands League.

A very cold day saw me warmed up by an entertaining 2-2 draw.

I met Guillem Balague. I knew he was connected to Biggleswade and it turns out he is the Director of Football.

I spoke to the Chairman yesterday and he said Guillem goes to 80% of the games.

based on the look on your face.... has Guillem just goosed you?

I imagine this place is lively for a full house.

Apparantly all Buenos Aires derbies do not permit away fans due to trouble. This has been for about five years.

If anybody is thinking of doing a game, we were told that you have to be a member so the chances are slim for games.

You are looking well Elfs. I was on the 5.13 this morning

In a city called Goiania.

I managed to have a tour around the ground of Goianes, they are currently in Serie B over here.

A fantastic old skool ground.

It looks massive. More like an Athletics stadium at first glance. Seats (or benches?) look a long way from the pitch, but that might be the camera angle...

Not an athletics track but I see where you are coming from.
Terracing running all round the ground(with a moat!) and seats behind.
The ground has held 75k but now will only allow 45k.
I was hoping to just get in and take pics, but through Mrs Elfsborg and her family we ended up getting a tour inside the whole ground, minus the trophy room.
First class Brasilian hospitality.
