The nearest I got to Downham was Peter Pan's pool.
Did you have your very own swan?

Nah, frightened of swans.Did you have your very own swan?
Off to Selhurst Park this afternoon for Palace Vs Stoke. I have a very old friend who is a S/T holder there, and who also has muscular dystrophy, so I'll be going as his carer. Come on Stoke.
Entrance, badge, programme and Grolsch all for £8.50
Probably be a 0-0 now!

This or Carling but £3.50 a pint is passable.and a proper glass 'glass' for the Grolsch![]()
Hadley v Biggleswade United yesterday in the Combined Counties League.
A very cold day saw me warmed up by an entertaining 2-2 draw.
I met Guillem Balague. I knew he was connected to Biggleswade and it turns out he is the Director of Football.
I spoke to the Chairman yesterday and he said Guillem goes to 80% of the games.
I imagine this place is lively for a full house.
Apparantly all Buenos Aires derbies do not permit away fans due to trouble. This has been for about five years.
If anybody is thinking of doing a game, we were told that you have to be a member so the chances are slim for games.
F*** that! You are looking well Elfs. I was on the 5.13 this morning
Not an athletics track but I see where you are coming from.It looks massive. More like an Athletics stadium at first glance. Seats (or benches?) look a long way from the pitch, but that might be the camera angle...
