My two are definitely from the 60's - they played together for a season, one in his last year with the club (a Scotsman) and the other (a Yorkshireman) in his first year with the club. We're all desparately trying to remember what we used to sing on the rookery in those days, and getting nowhere !
Was trying to think of a clue - but having mulled over this overnight, I'm very definitely leaning towards the Scotsman. Both his first name & surname are typically Scottish...
The Yorkshireman I referred to was Brian Garvey - The Rookery changed the title of the song Hare Krishna to his name...
No - not really a Scottish name. Think 'see you...'A guess at Tommy Anderson but I haven't got a clue which song.
I am defeated...
