We're all desparately trying to remember what we used to sing on the rookery in those days, and getting nowhere !
My two are definitely from the 60's - they played together for a season, one in his last year with the club (a Scotsman) and the other (a Yorkshireman) in his first year with the club.
The Scotsman was sadly missed, if his song was anything to go by...
Was trying to think of a clue - but having mulled over this overnight, I'm very definitely leaning towards the Scotsman. Both his first name & surname are typically Scottish...
