Yes, I noticed that too. Wonder if any commentators will pick up on it. Spurs bottom of table. Hahahaha!! Welbeck was utter class in this game.

He will get a rousing reception at the SOL.

He took the club to his heart, and is now making his mark at his boyhood heroes, the biggest club in the world.

I'm proud that we helped him along, and that his first England call up was due to his time here.

I hope he has a wonderful career, i'll always feel a little bit of him belongs to us <ok>

He was awesome tonight , what a pity we could not have held on to him. I wonder what would have happened if we had made a big offer for him last season? I doubt Fergie would have let him go but we could have done with him on Saturday.

He's just got an incredible touch for a big lad.

I'm embarrased to admit i was one of those saying 'your ****ing joking...' when we signed him.

Good job for me i like pie.

Good luck to the lad. He was superb last night. At least we have helped him on his way. Can we have another one like him please? Daniel Sturridge anyone?

And the rest Syd - I would think a bid around the 10-12 million would be the lowest they would succumb to.

DurhamMackem - I would have Sturridge tomorrow, we miss that Kevin Phillips type that run with the ball at defenders. It scarces that S**** out of them, now this is one thing that Sturridge is very could at doing.

Welbeck - Awesome - Defoe - Dirty little scumbag and could have been sent off for the kick (remember when he did that to Gordon and Broke his arm, we didn't even get a free-kick and Spurs tried to score afterwards).

Welbeck's second half was absolutely fantastic - he looked a top class player (wish we could have bloody signed him!!)
At this rate Chicarito isn't going to get much chance to play!!
