Damn that Austin....scoring goals when we had good hopes of signing another striker. I think we will only sign a player if one comes available that we have been trying to sign for a while.
Not as much fear surrounding a possible departure now we have seen the other three come in and do well. Any team losing a VvD will be weaker, but I'm not filled with the same sense of dread that I had in the summer.
And he looks involved and happy.* *Should not be taken as a sign of eternal loyalty, but good to see him part of the team.
Think how much Arsenal need VVD. So as our sports organisations trade players, over here, for a bit of fun I propose the following. VVD for Giroud & Walcott plus cash. Any takers?
Theo does not poses the hunger to return to our a club like ours. He'll end up at a safe bet like Hammers. As for the bearded frenchman.....yes please!
Putting aside the all round unliklieness and unsaintsness of a move for Giroud, he's on £90kpw which whilst lumpy is not exactly insurmountable for us: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.da...iroud-Laurent-Koscielny-Francis-Coquelin.html
I asked for that back in the summer. A total non-starter for next month however, I would suggest. If we refused to sell Virgil in the summer, I'd be utterly amazed if we sold him in January (other than for a stupidly, stupidly high offer).
Hmm, think that is a mistranslation, "this situation" is him being injured. He started yesterday for Club Brugge who are Man Citying the league and apparently did well. Although, they let Steve De Ridder score against them, which should be a -10 point penalty.
Yeah, but Pirlo loves Gaston Ramirez. Which is a good enough reason to watch his two assists this weekend.
I also wish commentators would call him Sanchez rather than Alexis. Every time they mention his name, my Amazon echo says "Sorry I do no know how to do that"
