Careful mate, I know that can lead from one disaster to the next when going through Mania. I don't want to kill your buzz and happiness you'll be feeling now, but just a tad concerned about your crash too. Why not head to the offy half an hour before it shuts and just get a couple of bottles, or 4 cans. Something you can enjoy, but you know isn't going to send you on one?
I need to get enough to last till midnight, that way I've no chance of heading into town if they run out before the town winds down, otherwise I'll spend all my money If I get wine I'll neck it in no time so 5 hours. I reckon I should be ok with 8 cans.
Any room for negotiation on that? Could we compromise at 6? At least you're still trying to think straight.
Seriously, joking aside earlier, you keep it easy-going Bri! No wine mate. My apologies if you're heading the wrong way and I encouraged it in any way mate. Stick to weak brew and head over to the mag forum for some fun and games
Sorted. I'll be alright lads, 8 cans is a modest amount in my state. It will keep the wolf from the door so to speak. Going to bang some tunes out tonight.
It's my party trick. Learnt it serving cans of red stripe in the tiny basement of Central Park(darlo branch, one of the town's best kept secrets, 2am liecence & only fit 80 people) when I ran the bar on the dub reggae nights.
It's the funniest thing in the world to me watching grown men struggle to pour a can of lager into a glass. It's most men from my experience.
Tunes are going tonight mate. Lots of vocal house classics from the 80s and 90s is order of the evening.
Wish I knew you then, that sounds class! I think we are getting to close mate, I didn't even have to press play on that and I knew it was you because I recognised your ****ing hand
My big ****ing sausage fingers. You know I think you're a don mate. Yeah man, it was a pleasure to work that bar. I'm genuinely considering becoming a professional bar man you know? Apart from care it's the one job I loved. I've developed a good pallet for liqueur too but I'm older, wiser and much more sensible. Seems the right time to have a venture into that area. I know the owner to an award winning cocktail bar in darlo called Voodoo. Could be an in, me and my lady spend a lot of time there.
Bit trancey for me. Did go and see Paul Oakenfold do a trance set at the Empire in Boro when I was 17 though. What a night. Smashed off my chops
