Think of the model of Sunderland FC

Surely people can understand that change in that manner does not work

You rant away on this and other threads, without bothering to listen to what others are saying.
Everyone I think agrees with what you've said here and most of us want a stable club in mid table till we've rebuilt.
OK? Have you absorbed this information?

What a lot of us are saying is that we don't want to end up in League 1 and that our current form, performances and tactics from the coach are driving us towards the relegation zone.

Leaving before the end ?? What will Ollly and half the ‘I NEVER leave early’ mob say ?
Maybe you should not come back next game and leave it to the real fans who cheer the team on till the end, win or lose.

Footnote : I of course also left on their 3rd goal and this time it didn’t bite me in the arse.....oh well

Yes I have fully understood and think what fans are worrying about hasn’t occurred yet
I read every single word and the undertone of your posts are usually centred around concern ... including now snow FFS

    Man up

I recommend the Power of Now ... it’s a book

No fan wants relegation and it hasn’t happened yet so fluffy posts about the dangers is what? anxiety imo ... the biggest obstacle of the human mind

I oppose that train of thought at every opportunity in life. No right or wrong just a different state of mind expressed on our little forum.

If you seriously look at the news and it’s tone and voice you maybe able to understand what is exactly happening to a softening everyday culture. If you are happy to absorb this then fine ... have a happy life but eventually that pattern needs investigation imo or you will spin endlessly in a world of worry

Shame I forgot my gloves and extra pair of socks.....otherwise I might of stayed....but probably not :)

If we continue on this current form we will definitely be in the relegation mix come Feb, and those who can’t see that are simply deluded
We are desperately in need of a striker who can actually score goals, if I and many around me can see that, then I’m sure the club see that too.
The problem is finding one and more importantly affording one.....

The highlight of the game was the announcement on 40 mins that there was no alcohol being sold to the away supporters and the subsequent crowd songs. I do enjoy my days out at LR and collective despair, moaning and (very) occasional joy the match can bring.

I don’t think any of Holloway/Ferdinand/Hoos/Fernandes/the box office braindeads don’t want a striker but we live in a world where Assombalonga costs £15m and god knows what in wages. We are skint so the best we can hope for is to ship out the absolute dross (Yeni, Caulker) and get in Eze and any striker who costs a pittance. There was talk of Moult from Motherwell who I know nothing about.

We still have this Arbitration award hanging over us, which no one is saying much about except it went against us. You're right, we are skint, but It's impossible to gauge how skint we are. Fernandes may have accepted that relegation to Lower Leagues, while not desirable, may be an unwanted fact of life and may eventually get the Football League off our back

    More personal attacks.
The post on snow was a general observation and it has indeed caused many people a fair bit of trouble.

"Man up"? WTF? I'll be out working in the snow tomorrow!

If you want to talk about mass panic and anxiety, then look no further than what you and many other remainers are peddling concerning brexit.

    I know you're a WUM. You know you're a WUM. Simple as.

Anyway, knock yourself out, I won't see any more of your posts.

While I'm not ready to join the Holloway Out club just yet there are growing questions to be answered. Other than up-front where our strike-force is simply innocuous and not good enough for this level we have a good sprinkling of decent players. In midfield Luongo, Freeman and Scowen all continue to look pretty good individually but the last six opponents have all somehow managed to disrupt their link up play with some ease. At the back Robinson continues to look like a very decent prospect and for long stretches of matches he and his various partners plus Smithies have kept some of the best strikers in the division in check but, as we saw again yesterday, we are unable to cope when the opposition decide to really press for 10-15 minutes. And don't get me started again on our total inability to make the kind of fast break that all successful clubs in the modern era use as a key tactical weapon. It seems to me that all of these areas represent tactical rather than player based failings which the coaching staff seem unable to respond to.

Robinson did well generally again yesterday, but should have done better for their first 2 goals.

Sorry Ossie, but some form of responsibility for conceding two goals does not equate to ‘generally well’. I haven’t seen any of the game so can’t really draw any conclusions, and I like Robinson though we could really do with him at left wing back.

How did Ned and Hall do?

This is what comes of managing a Shepherds Bush team for so long. You turn into Albert Steptoe

Otherwise well then would be more precise, he came off 2nd best to Roofe defending crosses for both goals. But he wasn't the only one at fault and did a lot of good work otherwise.

I thought Ned barely looked like he'd been away, a bit heavier and a little less quick perhaps understandably. He did OK first game back. Not as good as Robinson in playing the ball out of defence, but then he rarely was. Hall only got about 10 minutes, made a dangerous headed clearance to a 2nd Leeds attacker with possibly his first touch and looked rusty, unsurprisingly.

Thought we missed Baptiste's hard work blocking and tackling in the centre of our defense yesterday.

I don't buy into this the team has fight. Having fight counts for nothing, if you don't have a knockout punch you'll be the ones going down.
