Ronaldo is so far up his own hoop it's embarrassing.

"I'm the best player in history, in the good moments and the bad ones," he told France Football. "I respect everyone's preferences, but I've never seen anyone better than me. I have always thought that. No footballer can do the things I can. There's no player more complete than me."

Its difficult to compare players from different era's but to disrespect the many top players the game has seen points to a personality problem, he needs his hangers on to reassure him of his status,
An award voted for by fellow professionals should piss all over the Ballon d'Or but nepotism puts that one to bed.

I've always thought Messi a better player, not just for individual skill but for his teamwork and unselfish assists.

Only if you don't understand libel law mate ;)

It's not understanding the law it's implementing it or bending it in someone's favour, JB's post along with mine mirrors possibly millions on the same subject since he got away with it, he wouldn't and hasn't brought libel charges against anyone because theres no way a libel judge would guarantee he'd win, plus his England sacking and the reasons behind it would be highlighted by any defendant.

His was in it to his eyeballs but got lucky, he tried it again as national manager but got sussed and lost the job, he's a stubborn ****er and doesn't learn lessons easily, wouldn't surprise me if sometime in the not to distant future he's involved in another scandal, just hope it he is it's not while he's at Everton, they're a far better club that should never employed him after his England disgrace.

Weather alert for fans travelling to this Sunday's Merseyside Derby. High risk of snow.

Liverpool fans are advised to check for flight cancellations and motorway disruption.

Everton fans are advised to wear your big coat and avoid any suede trainers.

He didn't get done as there patently wasn't enough evidence to do so, hence the reason the FA employed him.

What you're saying is that **** sticks and he's permanently tainted as a result of unproven accusations.

The England sacking was a joke tbh, and nothing like the same kind of scenario, he was stitched up like a kipper, but daft enough to even speak to them. He broke no FA rules btw.

All that said I'm no fan of him as a bloke

Breaking News.....Snow Update......Everton fans are advised that the Horseshoe Pass at Llangollen North Wales is closed and the Wirral approaches to the two Mersey Tunnels will be treacherous on Sunday.

The FA aren't the law Tobes, putting your club loyalty aside, if you were sitting on a jury in a court case relating to the Bolton controversy and based on what was found out, would you without hesitation give him a walkover like you appear to be now because of club affiliation?

If only you were first with it......

What’s wrong with the Wirral :emoticon-0107-sweat

Let’s put it this way, the quicker he is gone the better.

He has never been charged with taking bungs/illegal payment.

Still, once the summer comes and Everton are safe he will be pushed aside for a new man. Moshiri loves to spunk cash so pumping Sam will not be an issue.

When have the FA ever employed an England manager with a serious cloud hanging over him?

See twitching 'Arry for details

I'm just being objective btw, I've already said I'm no fan of him, but let's be fair if we're going to chuck around unfounded accusations as being fact

Pj, he will be there a lot longer than you seem to expect.

Tobes, there has been so much money sloshing around football for many years, I'm not insinuating only him and his lad have been up to it but based on the evidence (the documentary I watched) i firmly believed from that moment he was lucky to get away with it and I stand by that, nothing to do with the rivalry, but fair play lads let's move on.

At most 18 months.

As I said, will be happy to see him go in the summer or have 18 mind months and weed out the bad apples.

Amusing tobes Likes your post.

Where does he live these days :bandit:

Haha, nah that's just an opinion, you spelt out why he was supposedly bent <laugh>
No I don't think I did.

You'd have to be able to prove who it was I said shouldn't be anywhere near football as I didn't name anyone <laugh>

Also your opinion that he's bent - is this based on fact? If so what fact? If not based on fact, it's defamation and could be libellous.
