I think it's rich given our position and budget, You're not going to have a player at this level that doesn't have at least one glaring weakness in their game. Look at our level. He doesn't frustrate me in the slightest, I'm grounded and grateful we've got a very good championship standard striker who's bagged 11 goals in 16 games. Because without him, we'd be dead and buried already, a dead cert to be relegated again with administration looking the most attractive way for Short to minimize his losses. My frustrations lie with individual mistakes, not moaning about our borrowed prolific striker who is somehow managing to keep our head just above water. Cause that rug could be pulled from under us at which point we'd be hoping and praying for the future of our club that we can find a replacement capable of replacing his goals. Now is not the time to moan about his weakness, it's the time to appreciate his strengths, surely more than ever in light of his recall clause. God help us if he gets another injury or is recalled.
It was his groin - not the knee injury from before. I haven't seen any update yet but this is what Coleman said after the game. “We had a game plan and we worked on it but then we lost Paddy in the warm up, so we had to re-jig the shape of the midfield and the personnel.” He continued: “It’s Paddy’s groin where he’s feeling the problem that he felt in the warm up. “As soon as the whistle goes it’s 100mph and he’s going to be at full pace, so there was definitely going to be a long-term injury there – it could have been two to three months – and we can’t afford any more so we couldn’t take the chance. “We don’t know the extent of what Bryan’s done to his knee yet and that’ll be on the back of an investigation from the medical team, and it won’t be until we see that tomorrow that we know a little bit more.”
I'm sure I'm just as grateful for his goals as you are. If I want to discuss our players pros and cons I will do so.

Reports on message boards stated the fan - whose team have not won at home for almost a year - pulled down his pants and used his seat as a toilet during the 3-1 defeat to Reading. A photograph of the teenager with his pants down in full view of disgusted fellow fans circulated on social media. A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Further to media reports reporting a fan defecated on his seat during the Sunderland v Reading match on Saturday, police would like to clarify that this was not the case." The force said the 17-year-old was arrested for being drunk in a sports ground and "had been dealt with appropriately". The spokeswoman added: "At no point did he defecate on his seat."
