Once again our "loyal supporters" are starting to behave like mags - ok they beat us at home (not the first time in my 51 years of support), but as usual everything else is forgotten!! Last weeks result against Liverpool was hailed as fantastic, we were going places. This week a crap team who were well outplayed scored a goal from a free kick - if it had been anyone but them it would have been just a bad day!! Could we for once rise above their mentality and wait until 38 games have been played to see who is the top North East team? I for one believe it will be us, lets be honest lad's they were rubbish. On that note just a little about the game, they are complaining about Larsson's handball - it was handled by Ameobi BEFORE it got to Barton's head. They have complained about our tackling, they rolled around clutching various parts of their anatomy to get the decisions - did they ever have any treatment for said injuries? I sit at the front and watched a lot of play-acting on Saturday & it wasn't by us! For heavens sake get a grip & trust Bruce, Niall & Ellis Short. FTM

**** off was it handball by Shola, clearly hits his head followed by shoulder. Don't try and hide from the fact that Larsson is a cheat, accidental I'm sure, but to run over to the linesmanand plead his innocence saying it hit his head makes him a cheat. Bardsleys challenge was shocking, any harder and his leg would have snapped. As for Clattermole, they were just reckless challenges, and should have received a second yellow for the foul on Gutierrez instead of just getting his first. He's a **** player who can't tackle. We did our job away from home, the line up made it clear what we were going to do. Defensive masterclass from ourselves.

The goal was a screamer and that alone deserved to win the game but in the end, justice was done.

Coming from a fan of a team who has Joey "The Cheat" Barton i.e "he punched me" or "I didn't punch Morten Gamst Pederson" to name but two incidents, never mind the embarrassment that is Steven Taylor running around telling the officials that someone elbowed Barton last week. That is really rich - oh & by the way - for team really is sh**e

Can't comment on Taylor, I haven't a clue what you are talking about there, will have to see it again.

As for Barton, I agree, he cheated with the Pedersen incident. We lost that game, seems justice comes into play quite often in football.

I'm afraid Bruce has had long enough. Our home record since January is one of the worst in the clubs history and on a par with the 15 point team.

First home game of a new season (happens to be a derby as well) and he just starts where he left off last year.

    Losing at home AGAIN.

Bruce hasn't got the wherewithal to think on his feet. He has a plan A (a **** plan A on Saturday though with 1 up front at home in a derby, which was fine at Anfield but not at home surely) but when it doesnt work, he is clueless. He dithers and flusters and ****s his pants with Deputy Black equally hapless alongside him.

No, Bruce is done for me. I only hope it doesnt take another relegation to rid us of him next year.

How convenient!! Oh & btw none of your players were badly injured & they was a lot of playing for free kicks so, as that is how you managed to get a goal it worked FTM

This is exactly what I mean.
So I'm behaving like a MAG now?

The whole of the OP could have been made without any derogatory comment against fellow SAFC supporters!

Hopefully it won't come to that.

I, personally, couldn't see us finishing below three of Blackburn, Swansea, Wigan, QPR and Norwich regardless of who's in charge.

Cattermole tripped him up for the goal, that was pretty clear to me.

And we have lost every final home of the season since we went up, ( won 1 or 2 drawn 1 lost 9 of our last 11 home game, shocking) there will be another bad run this season but by January if we out of the cups again that must be it, and i wonder if Niall is already looking for a replacement.

To be a penalty it has to be deliberate, and I'm not sure that it was (pleased to see you agree with me on this)..Having said that, I would have been disappointed had it not been given to us.
