Interesting how he implies that our players who have been at the club for several years, have a mental block and in time it started to bring down the new players who came into the club. It's probably to late to turn them around now, I think we should bite the bullet and go for another 4 or 5 out (Cattermole, O'Shea, Rodwell etc) with at least the same coming in to take us to the end of the season.
I seen Nads write this the other day and he was hoping for 12m - 14m, I think he said. I could see us getting about 2m - 2.5m for Catts, and 4m - 5m for Kone.Think he’s got some really good points, particularly that there’s mental scarring and we need a massive clear out.
As much as I am a Catts fan he’s got to go, he’s more effective in the PL and should be bossing games in the Champ but just isn’t and his legs look like they’ve gone.
O’Shea just needs to retire and sod off from our club and if Rodwell was an animal he’d have been put down by now.
Kone also just needs to go, absolute poison in the dressing room. To think we almost got £20m for him a season and a half ago is ridiculous.
I’m hoping selling Catts and Kone will raise about £10m and Coleman can reinvest all of this back into the squad.

Not much I can add to that, mate. Agree with every word.Been pushing this theory for so long now. Players overlap but a lack of confidence is infectious. This problem has been going on for years.
That combined with home atmosphere is a crippling combo. I know some folk think fans can do no wrong and if they pay their money they have the right to get on their back, while that may be true in theory it's completely an unintelligent approach. If they're already broken, booing is just going to put them to the point of no return mentally. I think the likes of Rodwell are too far gone now, fans need to take responsibility. Kicking somebody while they're down has never ever done any good ever. The fact some people aren't clever enough to see that's what they're doing and what it can do is damn right scary given the results are there for all to see.
Everything he says echos what most of us already know deep down. What he failed to say was Big Sam had us on the right track before Moyes pulled us back on the wrong side.
As much as i like(d) Catts his time at the club must surely be near an end now. Im sick of seeing him and OSheas name on our teamsheet followed by a defeat. Rodwell just needs tying up and dumping in the middle of Syria.
I agree with most of what you say there Bri but there is a difference between booing a team that is trying its hardest and booing a set of lazy bastards whose skill is way above what they are giving you and then collecting a fat wage packet at the end of the week f uck them the sooner they are gone the better.Been pushing this theory for so long now. Hi mate I just stopped going because I just couldn't stand watching the useless bastards one more day but when you are there and they are just taking the piss what do you do?There is a difference between the 2, yes.
Both are counter productive though.

Aye and we're all expert psychologists who know the difference between a lack of effort and a mental block which brings a lack of motivation and willing through fear all just by looking at them. We should all be knocking on the door to a six figure salary we've got it that sussed.I agree with most of what you say there Bri but there is a difference between booing a team that is trying its hardest and booing a set of lazy bastards whose skill is way above what they are giving you and then collecting a fat wage packet at the end of the week f uck them the sooner they are gone the better.
Was it not you who put the video on of the lazy twats and ridiculed them you have a very short memory mateAye and we're all expert psychologists who know the difference between a lack of effort and a mental block which brings a lack of motivation and willing through fear all just by looking at them. Sorry mate, I disagree with you. There's maybe one player who's featured regularly this season I might be able to say isn't giving effort and that's Kone, even then I don't know for sure what's going on in his head, He's gone from hot in demand to somebody who nobody wants in the space of six months which can't be good for mental well being so I couldn't say beyond doubt if he's being lazy or not, i know, lets boo and abuse him just in case.
We're such a negative fan base, we love a scapegoat. If a crowd can be a 12th man to their team with positivity they can just as easy be a 12th man for the opponents with negativity. Not and never said it's all the fans fault, I've always said everybody needs to take responsibility for their part and that includes the fans.
We know opposing teams coming to the SoL to use our own crowd against us, two people from two different teams have admitted it, we do know there's a mental problem going on cause every manager we've had since MoN has spoke of it. We don't know just from looking at them if their lack of motivation is a result of greed and laziness or to do with confidence and fear. I'll stick to what I do know and as for what I don't know I'll throw caution to the wind and get behind them rather than look for any justification to attack them.
