What I will say in Klopp’s defence is...he certainly did no panic buying when he couldn’t get his main target.

Out of interest is there anyone he could have purchased that would have made a difference? I can’t think of many top defenders that were possible to purchase during the summer

We should have got Koulabily instead. Shame we didn't as I like the guy and I think he would have come if a big offer was made.

PGS look really strong. Scoring shed loads of goals too.

I reckon they might win the CL this year. Definitely look the strongest imo.

I agree they look like the team that will get gazumped by a well drilled outfit and won't know how to deal with it. I reckon any of the English teams bar Pool can do a job on them. Not saying that coz Sky is online(lol) but because they(Pool) are a shambles at the back.

Atletico would be prime candidates for that,
but they may not even qualify for the KO stages.

If liverpool perform the flukiest win in the CL history (surpassing istanbul luck and chelseas CL run and Portos win combined) then yes i give liverpool a fighting chance. Otherwise i don't think PSG will do it :P

Ouch! ... harsh but fair ... Istanbul was the most flukey trophy win by any English football team in a quarter of a century ... even surpassing Man United's triumph against Bayern Munich tbh <cheers>

if i had to go with a team i'll go with Bayern but tbh i actually put Chelsea as dark horses. I have a feeling if we're not any closer by the time the CL matches re-emerge Conte will kick the PL into the distance and focus on CL
