What I will say in Klopp’s defence is...he certainly did no panic buying when he couldn’t get his main target.

Out of interest is there anyone he could have purchased that would have made a difference? I can’t think of many top defenders that were possible to purchase during the summer

Even if it was an older head while we waited on the right targets being available it would be something.

Davinson Sanchez? :P
Maguire maybe (not sure he's liverpool class, surely better than lovren and co though).
Kolasinac
Rudiger (looked good so far)
Kiko Fermenia has looked good everytime i've seen him.

Not including Aurier as he looks like he has the attributes but is a liability a la moreno (well a bit better than him).

or what they really could have done was made up with sahko and not sold him to palace

So pleased we signed him. He's a beast and has been really good for us. Got him on a free too <ok>

Maguire is comfortably 'Liverpool class'.

Whatever the **** that is. Even Swansea have conceded less than them this season.

It's all about systems and how well players defend.

Is Maguire a top 4 player... i dont think so (but its hard to gauge defenders, partnerships/systems etc). Whether that means he's good enough all round or in the top 12 defenders in the league, i rate others higher.

Look at Michael Keane, in a team like Burnley who offer loads of protection and do not necessarily require ball playing CBs, he looked brilliant. Stick him into a shambolic Everton side (and its not him alone) and he's looked a shambles.

Just because Swansea have conceded less than Liverpool does not make Fernandez or Mawson world beaters.

I'm not saying Maguire is poor. I think he's pretty solid with plenty of upside. I just don't think he's a top 4 defender yet. Lastly i already said he's better than the mugs they have at liverpool :P

The only one who was mouthing off was you after the NLD (when you eventually showed up)

You then spun a pack of lies about how many games I watch, and eventually tripped yourself up when your lying contradicted your own claims <laugh>
