An apparent 'battle' with Inter Milan for Yves Bissouma, Mali international midfielder ...![]()
While you lot were laughing at the West Ham 999 thing, my sides were splitting at the reports of both Spurs and Arsenal looking at Richarlison for £25m. I think if a bigger Premier League club comes to buy a player from a smaller club (especially a young player) there’s a minimum that they need to expect to have to pay. If you think he’s good enough for you, you need to realise the sums involved these days. I would say in today’s market they need to be looking at £40-50m. We unearthed the gem, if you want him, you’ll have to pay proper money, and of course, let’s hope he stays and develops with us for a couple of years anyway. Dele Alli for £25m, Spurs? Didn’t think so...
Do we need to invade somebody£25 million has become £30 to £35 million, even more, today. It sounds like pre war inflation in Germany!!

You'll have the RSPCA onto you.I need somewhere for my daughter's guinea pigs, they have been moved into my new garage, I don't like it.

Less than...I know deals are done in advanced these days but the window isn't open for another 2 months...

I thought that the Chinese were supposed to be bringing in some sort of new regulations, due to concerns that clubs were overspending, but I can't remember what they were.£25m would be laughable for one of the top young talents in the Prem. Double it and the Gino may consider. I think he is on a 5-year contract so he isn't going anywhere soon, unless it's a ridiculous offer. With China apparently interested too, we could probably demand a lot more than £50m from them too....
Maybe soon the 'big' clubs will see we aren't a pushover over any more

I think it was along the lines that whatever fee was paid for a player an equal amount of tax would have to be paid to the government. It was thought that this would halve the size of fees. It was something like that.
