Looks as if a loan is possible rather than a purchase. http://sportwitness.co.uk/newcastle-watford-make-official-offers-leicesters-slimani-loans/

Not sure he is a Moyes type player... http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....ball-news/west-ham-good-chance-landing-995420 I see our main striker target has just scored for Leicester.
And two of our former strikers score too - Vydra & Dyer. Not too sure about the latter, but wouldn't mind the former coming back...
https://www.si.com/soccer/2018/01/0...uary-move-fringe-arsenal-forward-theo-walcott Can't really see this happening - but...
I’m really not so sure the Slimani thing will happen now. Seems to be a bit more in favour at Leicester (I know Vardy was injured, but Slimani is now around the matchday squad when previously he wasn’t).
Appears we're looking at Kourtney Hause who can't make the Wolves team and a guy called Didier Ndong from Sunderland. The one thing I love is the idea that players not succeeding in the Championship would be a target for Watford, irrespective of age or ability. Or is it easy for a journalist to write Watford are interested in just about any player? I don't follow the rumours regarding other clubs acquiring players but I would guess none suffer the silliness that goes on around Watford. https://thisisfutbol.com/2018/01/blogs/championship/pl-clubs-set-to-battle-for-wolves-hause/ https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/20...erland-midfielder-linked-with-move-to-watford
According to a report from the Daily Mail, West Ham are fans of Watford midfielder Etienne Capoue, and the Hornets are open to selling the 29-year-old if a £12 million bid comes in. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/01/0...-on-etienne-capoue-watford-would-want-12m-to/
This from the Ndong article is a bit of a worry - Ndong played 31 games in the Premier League and after an initial underwhelming start to life in red-and-white he proved to be one of Sunderland’s better players under David Moyes, albeit in a squad littered with poor performers. Never quite capable of stamping his authority on a game, Ndong’s athleticism is his predominant asset though his vision and ability to pick out a pass continue to let him down. Underwhelming this season in the Championship, the former Lorient man had been expected to step up in the second-tier. Reminds me of a Frenchman we already have... As for the Wolves guy - I'm beginning to doubt that MS has what it takes to get his Hause in order...
http://www.football-espana.net/69160/getafes-guaita-watford Those mysterious 'reports' are at it again - yet another goalkeeper linked with us. If this keeps up we'll be able to field a whole team of them soon.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...h_Sunderland_over_midfielder/#comments-anchor Well he'd be used to losing!
