What are your views given the fact that you are our neighbours? Do you think it will happen or not?
Do you give a damn about us skunks?

Why? If the profile of NE football is raised then it could have a knock on effect with your sale as the region may be seen as a viable investment harbour.

Still being silly.

All of the billions invested in Man U and City have clearly had a trickle down effect on Rochdale, Wigan, Bolton, Bury and Oldham.

Like it works that way.

It has no impact on us whatsoever, as far as I can see you already had a great owner who made your club debt free and financially backed a succession of managers.

Could be great for you, but as she’s a hedge fund manager and is looking to use other peoples money for it, she will be expected to run the club at a profit, easier said than done.

You made under £1 million profit last year, so if we said £100million a year to play with but higher wages, and higher player fees to contend with, there’s not going to be a City or Chelsea like change, more a case of the club continuing to be ran well, like Ashley has, but with a different and potentially unclear ownership.

From that £100 Million she has to return on investment to her clients, they won’t be expecting £50 on the Million!

As regards our takeover, the interest and will to sell is there, it will happen when it happens I’ve no concerns about it.

He was good on a business level but in footballing terms, he was a disaster. Two relegations are testament to that

Yeah I get that side mate, but has he made any real disasterous appointments? Kinnear yeah but the rest all either did OK or looked OK.

I think it’ll be good for you if for no other reason than to remove the cloud that hangs over him, I’m not convinced it’s gonna have a huge impact on the pitch.

The kinnear, wise and llambias thing was a **** up. His treatment of Keegan and Shearer was a joke too

Perhaps his stewardship has allowed for a takeover like this to happen. Who knows.

Yeah, the financial side of the club makes you viable, we couldn’t hold appeal to that kind of investment as they’d be taking on massive debt, we need someone like Ashley, ironically.

You know what, I wouldn’t be remotely upset if he sold up and bought us.

He’s streets ahead of Short. He’s destroyed you in a way Ashley never could do to us.
