Scumbag.........not you, HBIC. FIFA should ban him from the World Cup...........FFS, cheating to get someone sent off in a friendly?
I think FIFA will be preoccupied with Edwin Cardona doing this during the scuffle...

Ser Davos needs to pick up international "injuries" .
Spurs cannot risk Colombia team-mates infecting
him with utter scuminess.

Boooo. Typical United/Mourinho dirty tricks. Phil Jones feigns injury after 5 minutes and is subbed off after 25. Doesn't he want to play for his country?

BBC's McNumpty bigging Jones up online. Not watching the game so wonder how a bang average defender should deserve such praise for 25 minutes in a friendly. Have I missed something or is this more BBC/Manchester bias?

How sad it is that our national side are bowing to the whims of Nike and having to wear blue tonight.
Yes, a sign of the times, but still pathetic.

Hope they're not planning on trying to stop us wearing white at the Emirates!

Really engaging game so far. Spurs lads have been great and a lot of the inexperienced players are doing well. Imagine how good we'd be if clubs like Chelsea actually put faith in young English kids.

Cheating feckin' Italians - it's in their DNA!
But Sweden take the lead <laugh>

Why would anyone would bother to watch another England drudgefest when the Belgium/Mexico match is so much more entertaining?

So here's a translation of Edwin Cardona's apology

"Hi, with respect to what happened today: it wasn't my intention to disrespect any person, country, or race. But if anyone felt offended or misinterpreted, I ask for forgiveness. It's the opposite, we're very thankful for how the Korean people have treated us from the first day - it was something spectacular. I'm not a controversial person, and I regret that the situation that happened in the match has been misinterpreted in that way"

So not only did he use that most Daily Mail of qualifiers, namely the "I am sorry that you were offended" argument, but he also claims to not be a controversial person...apart from the time he got a straight red playing for Boca Juniors for elbowing a River Plate player in the face...or the time he caught an opponent with a flying kick to the head...

Reactions: Spurlock
Thought Trippier should have been our motm by a distance but we do love to overrate youngsters, don't we? Hummels was the best player on the pitch. Decent game but bringing on Rashford really seemed to stunt our goal threat. Big fan of his but he had a poor one tonight and isn't having a great season.
