Given the hilarious presence of lots of clowns and wild animals in the circus that is West Ham's current footballing state, recent information regarding the obscenity that is The Taxpayers' Arena has gone under the radar..........until now. Last Thursday, was the last chance for members of the Greater London Assembly to quiz David Goldstein before he leaves his Chief Executive position. When asked about a recent media report that E20 could be put into administration, Goldstein said he could not comment until after the Moore Stephens report [as ordered by London Mayor Khan] into the whole shameful affair is published. This was also the answer given to questions about the stadium's failed attempts to attract a sponsor, reduce running costs and stage other sporting events, including a Major League Baseball game. Goldstein was able to advise that thus far into its existence, E20 had spent £3.5m of public funds on legal fees, the vast majority of it, addressing litigation commenced by their tenant ...........West Ham United. So, thus far, most if not all of the rent paid by West Ham ,has been spent defending claims that West Ham are being cheated out of their contractual entitlements by the idiots charged with running this ridiculous farce. If this was the result of Labour or Lib Dem failings, it would be on the front page of every newspaper in the country but....................

It gets worse and worse all the time, doesn't it? Kick them out and we'll rent it for our youth players and ladies team. We'd probably pay more, moan less and the costs would be lower.

Reece Oxford is still living off that performance against us 2 years ago. He has done squat since. In fact, if west ham players in general were judged based on the performances they put in against us, they'd have the most valuable squad in the world.
The only player in their squad that interests me is Declan Rice. Only 18, on a short contract and looks very assured, in the admittedly limited amount that I've seen him. If we're going to keep playing three centre-halves, then we could do with another option there.
There was a little awkwardness as Moyes pretended to be totally fine with the length of his contract, which only runs until the end of the season. It is certainly a strange piece of early sabotage by West Ham’s owners, who could quite easily have backed Moyes with the full two years plus some decisive break clauses . “Managers now aren’t having long-term contracts,” he insisted breezily, like a newly divorced dad explaining how much fun it’s going to be moving out of the family semi and living in a flat above a kebab shop.
What i like about Moyes is that in every single picture he looks like a man who has wandered out of a care home without permission.
Just to clarify the administrative structure : Is the Academy of Hoof (now) a division of the Temple of D1ldo, or a completely separate entity ??
