Lucky Pass collapsed and died after winning 250 @ Galway. Sad loss for all concerned! <peacedove>

Fancy Schiaparannie in the bumper at Aintree (4:10). Am sure Malcolm Jefferson will produce her fit enough after the 162-day break.

Apparently they're looking to reschedule the two G1s at Saint-Cloud for Tuesday/Wednesday but no guarantee that the British/Irish runners will return for the races.

Driven back from Cheltenham so didn't have a bet today, great weekend btw if you haven't been you should horse racing heaven. Anyway looking at aintree whilst waiting for breakfast picked out a horse, didn't back it, you won't believe it Bon chic. Gutted!!

I will give you a few to consider;
CLOUDY TOO 1:50 who has a nice prep with this in mind. (16/1)
SHANTOU VILLAGE 3:00 who I think still has a lot of improvement to come (6/1)
GREEGALAGH GIRL 4:10 who looked very smart when winning a Perth bumper on rules debut (9/2)

Have a great day and do not forget the clocks go back tonight!

Some rubbish earlier but you can usually trust me for the bumper winner!

Well done on the usual bumper winner, Stick, but what a desperate finish with the favourite! Think Schiaparannie worth keeping an eye on, finished 6th of the 18 runners and ran a fair race after absence. <ok>

Lovely Gangsta Martin/Keane win in Italy!!Another horrible turn of luck for Elliot again today, been a terrible couple of weeks for the stable but he'll bounce back.

I thought mine was going to hose up all the way up the straight Swanny but the other one was game and the line was about the only place mine was in front.

He has lost three of the brightest young stars. It’s been an horrific few weeks for him. Very sad times.

I've never heard of a trainer to lose three talented horses in the space of a couple of weeks, terrible for Gordy.
