The Beatles probably felt the same way, apparently Ain't That A Shame was the first thing John Lennon learned to play on the guitar.

The Beatles were asked when they were appearing in New Orleans when they first toured if there was anything they wanted to see or do whilst they were there. They replied " Meet Fats Domino".

This just popped up on my mate Toby's newsfeed. I noticed his brother plays with your lad on a Thursday at Hunsley (same league as us), was it your dog or his? Small world.

It's Toby/George's families dog, but they're away half the year (it's their house I go on holiday to in Portugal), so she stayed with us while they're away.

Massive condolences to you and yours Lambo. Your dog never does anything wrong, not ever, mischievous episodes yes, malicious episodes never. I always say give me a dog over a human every day of the week, what you see is exactly what you get. Your dog is the only thing that you will ever share your life with that loves you more than it loves itself.

RIP Bella, undoubtedly awaiting your mum and dad at the end of the rainbow <rose><rose><rose><peacedove>

Beautifully said LBA. I have lost five little dogs since I moved to Canada almost 20 years ago...all of them mistreated rescue dogs who needed a loving home...and when they crossed the rainbow bridge my heart was broken every time. I now have a little 2-year old rescue, "Lucky", who I hope will outlive me. My sincere condolences OLM. Our four legged friends are truly "Mans best friend". God bless them.

Just got my 5th rescue dog to keep our 4th rescue dog company. He was missing the one we got him to keep company which we lost last year, aged 16. Like Look Back In Amber prefers dogs to people most of the time.
