BIDMAS stands for Brackets, Indices, Division and Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction. All of these terms are fairly obvious except for 'Indices', which are just powers (eg 23 or 42 etc.) So the order you should do your calculations in is: Brackets. Indices. Division. Multiplication. Addition. Subtraction.
Follow these rules of maths and you will understand why the answer was correct.

Its all lost on me mate. I couldn't even mark the dart board correctly.
Could always convert metric to imperial mind if I was making owt on a lathe.

0.0245mm is equal to one imperial thou.
That's my engineering background kicking in.
We had an old lathe that was gauged in thou.
That conversion is embedded in my skull.

I had that for well over a year and it wouldn't shift, I eventually found that swimming underwater and going under in the bath fixed it, loosened up the wax. I'm glad it did because it used to drive me mad.

He said: "Maybe because Ellis in the past, before I was here, has spent an awful lot of money on players, there's been a more significant visible investment, if you like, and Ellis was maybe getting around a little bit more. “The fact that he's not around so much and the fact that fans don't see the level of spending on the squad that they're used to and our performances are where they are then there's an automatic assumption that the owner is disengaged, that he doesn't care about the football club. "Nothing could be further from the truth. He interacts with me and I believe he's emotionally invested in Sunderland. “I hear him after the games and if the performances aren't what he expects the performances to be he's not a shrinking violet

They're called trainers mate, tend to be comfy. You must not have seen them before with all the use your sandals get.
