The last 9 games? The consensus in the area I was sat was very upbeat. We certainly had more to applaud and cheer than in the last four home games - including the win over the atrocious Huddersfield. There were times when we failed to penetrate but we weren't at full strength and United often had 6 - 8 payers across the edge of the penalty area. Our play last night showed more skill, endeavour and risk than the rest of our games this season combined.
Sorry Bob but I just did not see that last night, all I saw was a team struggling to compete with a second string of kids from Manu, who never got out of first gear. As the second half unfolded we looked even more clueless and the only word that I can use to describe it was, 'embarrassing' Clement also looked clean out of ideas, the man has had it...........
Disagree with your comments on the game but the observation of Clement is spot on. Worth seeing his brief post match interview. I thought he was dismissive of the fringe players, shrugged of the left back question and gave he impression he was thoroughly hacked off. If the Yanks are keeping things professional (unlike the Guidolin situation) it could be he's been given his deadline. (That could be wishful thinking though.)
Hope the club is seriously working on trying to keep Ki here , he's able to talk to teams come January . Our MOTM against Man U IMO .
Can't see him staying even if we look like staying in the EPL or he'd have started contract negotiations.
We will sell Ki and Mawson as the yanks can see profit in them and god forbid if someone fancies Fab as he will go too..
me neither , I don't think Ki is a happy camper with us . We won't get as much for Mawson as we could have in the summer
