Whats that got to do with us being deluded! Were not happy about our finances and yet we continue to back one of the best managers in the championship! Weve a good squad and will finish in the top 10 again! Youve spent mass amounts of money just so you can match the teams in and around the playoffs! I find it terrible that your best player king was no where near the starting 11 until recently!
bought him from livingston for 40k back in league 1, same time as we bought beckford for 35k.
gary mac brought him in.. was jack the lad when we signed him, major alcoholic issues and was constantly in trouble with the police because of the lads he hung around. So his parents made him leave scotland to grow up and start a new life! So we got a bargain mate!

We've done pretty well scraping the barrel. If we were any other club, it wouldn't have paid off to the same extent. Shame it doesn't work as well for defensive players, of whom the quality ones seem far less common in the modern game where every young footballer seems to want to be a goalscorer. We've managed Kisnorbo on the cheap, but that's as far as it goes. "Goals win games, defences win leagues" is the cliche I often quote. It would seem those title-winning defences cost an awful lot more money than the ten-a-penny goalscorers.

Once again at all our games so far this season, we have all been singing theres only 1 simon grayson! What you'd give for a manager like him! the 10 mill you have spent he could have bought 22 players outta that with change!

Definately... look at steve morrison at norwich. paid 100k to stevenage! george boyd to the posh 200k. and hes class. would love him at leeds... but prob a value sale of 3 mill
That's the only thing Leicester fans ever seem to remember him for! Don't think he's ever scored a free-kick for Leeds, either. It sems that Pearson was very strict with his defensive requirements for Leicester's squad and Gradel preferred a freer operator and managed to find that in Grayson. The great irony is that Gradel now tracks back equally as thoroughly as he would have had to do under Pearson at Leicester, except he still ventures forward with great freedom and spends most of the game scaring fullbacks ****less.
Difference is that he chooses to cover the defence rather than being ordered to do so. You can only blame Boring Nige for that clanger being dropped though; from what I've read, the majority of Foxes fans would rather have seen Gradel in their team than N'Guessan.
gradel is quality! loves leeds to death... 1st time hes ever settled at a club and will give his right arm for us! we just need to tie the lad down
To be fair we got Sol Bamba 250k from Hearts and he's class - got to be worth 3-4 mill, rest of our signings - ask me in 6 months!
