I used to have a soft spot for Leicester when they had players like Weller,Worthington etc,played with flair but not quite the same now the clubs sold its soul. Finally, a balanced opinion from a Foxes fan on Schmeichel. We've been warning you all summer that he has a terrible temperament, but it seemed like no-one would listen. His reflexes are (mostly) excellent, but his all-round game lacks the control of an experienced player, and his attitude is certainly wanting; he acts more Champions League than Championship. Needs to sort his head out if his future is to be remotely successful. Even though Leicester are sitting ducks as far as wind-ups are concerned, I'll avoid the chance to goad you. Just an 'I told you so' should be enough. Hope Leicester fans take some humble pills over the next few days. After all, it's us who are meant to be the arrogant ones, and no-one surpasses Leeds United in that regard, no matter how hard you try! I'm sure that Leicester, like Reading, Hull and Middlesbrough last season, will put a late spurt on and storm the promotion places, but I think this sanctimonious mindset is pretty out-of-place and should be dropped by those of your fans who have adopted it. I'm not just talking about not606. Any other Championship club could have been taken over by Thais. What would you have thought of them if they were bragging about 'buying the league' and being invincible before the proceedings even began? They'd look like fickle dickheads, right? Like I say, Schmeichel is something of a prima donna, and if Leicester fans have any common sense about them, they will try and steer him in the right direction when he fails to catch the ball in place of camera saves, when he fails (after conceding) to kick the ball to the centre circle and instead boots it into the stands, and when he fails to claim crosses and corners in place of punching it away. His mindset at the moment is parallel to that of the pretentious Foxes faithful. If the fans steer him (and the other players) in the right direction, you will finally achieve a workmanlike, promotion-worthy squad of the calibre of Norwich, Swansea and QPR last season. But at this point, it's premature to write Leicester off or indeed to write them in as promotion favourites. Chill the **** out.
