Millwall fans are disgusting and always have been. I witnessed some of it where they got out of the metal barriers but the people who are beating up an old man and a person in a wheelchair should be hung as far as i'm concerned. Surely the police are catching the same people over and over again and their not putting them away in prison because their scared. Awful.
I agree with sain-t's ratings. ^^ Richardson had a mare in the first half. I usually rate him as well, but he did get skinned today. Rickie Lambert is a class above. His first touch, vision and posititioning is absolutely amazing. He must be absolutely horrible to play against. Seaborne had another good game today, absolutely solid. If he can improve his distribution, he will be a class player for us. I can't believe cork was only 750k, he's awesome. Oh, and I thought the ref was absolutely awful today. Lambert was fouled nearly every long ball that we played to him. The elbow warranted a straight red as well. Only downside was the disgusting thuggish milwall fans. They need to grow up, absolutely disgraceful.
Why put it on their Board? We moan like hell when their WUMs visit us. I reckon it was the under 10's again! Come on Saints fans.. play it straight.
to be fair the ones who comment on here are probably pig sick of being represented by the mindless thugs at games.
Only a minority I think, and not all Saints fans are Saintly it seems. Not condoning any of it they need to eradicated.
OK let us see the goal highlights from Bristol City v Portsmouth? Oh! sorry there don't appear to be any.
I thought Kelvin had a pretty dodgy game on the whole today, though each of the back 5 played their point at some point or another. Richardson was beaten by Bouazza far too many times in the first half, Seaborne was making some awful headed clearances, and Kelvin's distribution was awful as usual (his eccentricity also makes me nervous). To be fair, they all picked up in the last 15 minutes, Seaborne made countless headers (though most were a little iffy) and Kelvin was assured when collecting the crosses they were bombarding us with. Fox was poor, hope he improves as he spends more time with the team. Harding had a relatively good game, and I didn't realise the extra dimension Connolly gives us until he went off. Pleased with the win, though we rode our luck at times. I had to get the London Waterloo train back home (Basingstoke) and it was crawling with Millwall fans. They even said Southampton are a 'sad, pathetic, PLASTIC club'! Couldn't believe what I was hearing, but given that the drongo spouting all this was three times the size of me I wasn't gonna pipe up and argue. He had his kid with him, who could have been no more than 6/7, and every other word was either 'f**k' or 'c**t'. Awful fans, awful parents, awful human beings. EDIT: Forgot to mention De Ridder, thought he was class when he came on. Worked his socks off hassling when they were in possession, looks like he has some good footwork and had some cute touches. Very impressed with him.
Sorry guys and gals out celebrating our win would have done something about it had I been on earlier.........What on earth made the lad do that........I'll contact him later and have a word to the wise.......
millwall fans are an absolute disgrace to football - its fans like them (along with foreigners and wages) that is ruining the image of football and it really saddens me tbh - beating up disabled and old men is an sbolute disgrace IMO, the lowest of the low
To be fair to Foxy he was bought in as a left back not a left winger, but slotted in quite well, he hasn't been with us long enough to know how the rest play yet, it will come, but more likely to give Harding a break, than play up in the forward line.
Well the Football League show excelled themselves tonight, gave us less air time than what we were getting in Div. 1. Bet that Skate eejit Claridge was responsible for that.
