Spot on - there was palpable frustration amongst the travelling fans when Pawel (in space) decided that a back post cross was a better option than a shot

That said most of our shots yesterday were weak or poorly placed, when with a decent striker we would've had more than one goal

Sylla was his usual frustrating self yesterday. Got the goal but then spent as much time moaning / sitting down as he did running about, Probably why he seems to be most effective as an impact sub

Looking for positives, it is good that we are creating chances.

But we seem to be scared of the responsibility to put them away.

Of course it is down to ability, but confidence and psychology must be a major factor.

We really lack the killer instinct.

Sylla had a few decent goal attempts too. Agree he probably should have taken one more but at least he got in the right places, worked the Keeper, and got the one in. His volley from distance on the turn from his own chest down needed a decent save and was great to see.
Just back form w/e away and watched Sylla's miss.
The internet is full of videos of such misses from players ranging from lower leagues up to Christiano Ronaldo (once!).
Still poor, even though common.
Just a bit more composure and three points in the bag.
Omwards to Bolton.

McGeady leaves QPR ruing missed chances – Report

Sunday, 15th Oct 2017 17:59 by Lee McAlpine

QPR are still winless on the road this season, though quite how that’s the case after Saturday’s match against a dreadful Sunderland side has Lee McAlpine struggling to explain.

QPR left the Stadium of Light with only a point, after a combative, but not quite ruthless enough performance, against a bewildering poor Sunderland team.

How we didn’t take all three points, after dominating huge spells of the game, came down to familiar and frustrating reasons. A mixture of poor finishing, crap decision making or just an unlucky run of the ball in their box, meant we had to settle for the draw. But make no bones about it, and take zero notice of the ludicrous BBC match report, Rangers were the better side and deserved more.

Sylla scored and threatened more. Mackie missed the ball all together when set up by Pavel. Washington had one pathetic shot. Luongo came close. Freeman wasn't at his best. Scowen blazed wide. Pavel looked scared to shoot. Manning didn't shoot. Nor did anyone else.
