Looking for positives, it is good that we are creating chances. But we seem to be scared of the responsibility to put them away. Of course it is down to ability, but confidence and psychology must be a major factor. We really lack the killer instinct.
Just back form w/e away and watched Sylla's miss. The internet is full of videos of such misses from players ranging from lower leagues up to Christiano Ronaldo (once!). Still poor, even though common. Just a bit more composure and three points in the bag. Omwards to Bolton.

How we didn’t take all three points, after dominating huge spells of the game, came down to familiar and frustrating reasons. Sylla scored and threatened more. Mackie missed the ball all together when set up by Pavel. Washington had one pathetic shot. Luongo came close. Freeman wasn't at his best. Scowen blazed wide. Pavel looked scared to shoot. Manning didn't shoot. Nor did anyone else.
