Not really. Continuous improvement. Don’t know for sure but say we got 72 points last year. You can only look after your own points total so if this year we get 76 points I’d claim that as heading in right direction. It might mean we only get 5th but then do you just have to congratulate the other teams for their vast improvement.
Its weird but in theory people would rather get less points and a higher finish than more points and lower finish because it’s all about the table at end of season but more points mean more wins which means more enjoyment throughout season.

Once more this time spelled out for you lot.
1. Astro uses his stat as some sort of excuse for off any time a win comes along.
2. I have said... twice.. lfc are 4 points off the pace for 4th. It's really this simple. You need to be taking about 8 points every 4 games. That's 16 points or so. That's to get 70 points. Last year we needed to get 76 which was cos arsenal has the record points for 5th in the prem. Right now we are looking like 62 points total. That's not enough obviously
3. I am saying lfc need to improve quickly to make up that deficit while astros stat suggests all is rosy cos we have more points than the equivalent games last year.
I am quite happy with looking to the points per game and seeing where we are at. I don't give a bollocks what we did the past years in individual games.
